  • Hero Glamour Blaze Edition Launched,

Hero MotoCorp has launched the Glamour Blaze edition at Rs 72,200 (ex-showroom Delhi). It carries a premium of Rs 1,200 over the lower Glamour drum brake alloy wheel variant. The new edition gets cosmetic and feature updates with no changes to the BS6 powertrain or underpinnings. It is one of many new Hero two-wheelers to arrive before the Diwali festive season according to Malo Le Masson, Head of Strategy, Hero MotoCorp. The bikemaker has already launched a new Maestro Edge 125 Stealth edition

The Glamour Blaze gets a new coat of paint called new Matt Vernier Grey with fluorescent stickers. Besides the new colour the motorcycle gets a handlebar-mounted USB smartphone charger which Hero claims is a first for the segment. Besides the new updates, the Blaze edition continues to use features like a semi digital instrument console, i3S start stop and auto sail tech.

    Hero Glamour Blaze Edition Launched,

It continues to be powered by a 124.7cc BS6 compliant fuel-injected motor that delivers 10.73PS and 10.6Nm with a 5-speed gearbox. Underpinnings are the same diamond frame with telescopic forks and dual shock absorbers. It gets a front disc brake and rear drum brake with CBS.

It is surprising that the new Glamour Blaze variant costs just Rs 1,200 more than the drum brake variant. For this you get a new colour scheme, a USB charger and most importantly, a front disc brake.
