The next generation Triumph Tiger Explorer has been caught testing, and, given the lack of camouflage, it wouldn’t be surprising that the motorcycle will be launched soon

2016 Triumph Tiger Explorer

The next generation Triumph Explorer has been caught testing. The new Triumph Tiger Explorer has been given a design makeover and now resembles the six-model Tiger 800 line up. The current Triumph Tiger portfolio consists of three road-spec motorcycles and three motorcycles with wire-wheeled, knobbly-tyred models. The motorcycle caught testing was christened 'XRT,' signifying the fact that it will be the top of the range model for the tarmac-spec versions. The Triumph Tiger Explorer gets equipped with WP’s semi-active, electronically-adjustable suspension. The lower spec models will most likely not be offered with the semi-active kit, but will feature the same styling and technical changes.

In terms of styling, the new Triumph Tiger Explorer gets a restyled body, new wheels and revised powerplant. The electronic package is also expected to be updated on the new model. The next generation Triumph Tiger XCA has also been spotted testing with wire wheels. It is expected that the Tiger XCA will be offered with optional extras like panniers, top-box, crash bars, extra lights and probably a host of rider aids and creature comforts. On the Indian context, we can expect the new Triumph Tiger range to make their India debut at the 2016 Auto Expo.
