After introducing quite a few new/updated models in 2021, Hero is now set to launch a few more offerings for 2022. As of now the list only includes a couple of names and here’s what we can expect.

In a bid to improve the XPulse 200’s highway capability and overall performance, Hero MotoCorp introduced the 4-valve configuration for 2021. Here’s how the Hero XPulse 200 4V now rides in the real world. With that being said, the bike still doesn’t feature the Rally kit as a standard fitment. 

But that’s likely to change sometime around May 2022, as Hero might offer the XPulse 200 4V with the off-road kit fitted from the factory in a separate variant. This should help buyers save a decent chunk, considering the full kit costs Rs 46,000. We think the Rally kit variant could be priced at around Rs 1.55 lakh (ex-showroom). 

Xtreme 200S 4V

With the Hero XPulse receiving the 4V treatment, it only makes sense for Hero to employ the same for its only faired motorcycle, the Xtreme 200S. This will not only aid its performance but also add a bit more character to the supposedly sporty Hero bike. Currently, the Hero Xtreme 200S is powered by a 199.6cc 2-valve air-cooled motor that develops 18.08PS and 16.54Nm. 

Expect the updated model to get a slight power bump. Not to mention, the update will also bring in a premium of a few thousand rupees. So, you can expect the Xtreme 200S 4V to retail at around Rs 1.32 lakh (ex-showroom) and be launched sometime in the first quarter of 2022.
