The third generation Suzuki Hayabusa has to be one of our most favourite hypersport bike here at ZigWheels. It still retains its legendary thirst for high speed (over 300kmph!) without sacrificing its everyday usability, and not to mention its almost-sportbike like handling. So what better way of testing what the ‘Busa can do than to race it from one city to another. But what wheeled vehicle is worthy enough to take on the “King of Speed”? It could be none other than the Deccan Queen Express.
So the stage was set, Arun and PD would set off from Pune Station, Arun on the ‘Busa and PD in the luxurious Vista Dome coach of the Deccan Queen. Their destination - Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) in Mumbai, their end goal - some delicious Pav Bhaji at the famous Cannon Pav Bhaji stall outside the station. Will Arun and the Hayabusa be able to navigate through the traffic and heat of Mumbai before the Deccan Queen takes its arrow straight route through the city and get to CSMT?
