2025 Hero Xtreme 125R Launched, More Tech And Safety Features Added

Hero has pulled a proper stealth move – the Xtreme 125R has gotten a brand new fully-loaded variant loaded, which is priced at Rs 1,04,500 (ex-showroom). No teasers, no hype, no press blitz – just a quiet update.

So, What’s New?

The Hero Xtreme 125R now packs cruise control, ride-by-wire throttle, three ride modes, a colour LCD console, and most importantly, dual-channel ABS – in a 125! Add to that three new colours: Black Pearl Red, Black Matt Shadow Grey, and Black Leaf Green (yes, all have black in the official names).

Power comes from the same 124.7cc engine, making 11.4PS and 10.5Nm. The ride-by-wire setup doesn’t just enable cruise control and ride modes, it also promises a smoother throttle response and potentially better fuel efficiency. And with the dual-channel ABS, it’s the safest 125 in the country right now.

Not First, But Definitely Not Last

The Hero Glamour X 125 already got all this tech before the Xtreme this year. But it is the sensible, smart, office-commute Hero (pun intended). The TVS Raider 125 was also very recently updated with wider tyres, a new colour, and disc brakes at both ends – but only single-channel ABS.

The Xtreme 125R wants to be the one bike that’s your weekday commuter, and your Sunday ‘thrill’ machine in the lower cubic capacity segment. So while Hero launched it silently, make no mistake – this one’s sure to make a lot of noise in the 125cc world in the coming days.
