Yamaha India has Showcased the 2025 FZ-S Fi in India at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. The motorcycle now comes with hybrid assist and new features as well! The model showcased is the top-of-the line DLX variant. 

Engine and Underpinnings

The 2025 Yamaha FZ-S Fi Hybrid is powered by a 149cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine which makes 12.4PS and 13.3Nm, and is paired to a 5-speed gearbox. The motorcycle now comes with a mild-hybrid assist which temporarily increases the torque output to give it a surge in power to do quicker overtakes. The mild hybrid system should also make the engine more frugal. We will get to know how much boost the motorcycle actually gets once it is officially launched. 

Suspension duties are handled by a telescopic fork and a preload adjustable monoshock. Brakes include a 282mm disc at the front and a 220mm disc at the rear with single-channel ABS. The motorcycle gets 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends and weighs in at 139kg kerb.

Design

The 2025 Yamaha FZ-S Fi continues with the same design which includes a sculpted tank and a slim tail section. Overall, the motorcycle looks the same.

Features

The 2025 Yamaha FZ-S Fi gets a brand new TFT display which supports smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth and displays turn-by-turn navigation. For added safety, the bike gets traction control and single-channel ABS. 

Rivals

The 2025 Yamaha FZ-S Fi goes against the Bajaj Pulsar 150 and the Hero Xtreme 160R.
