The Koreans have made clear that they have a strong plan for the near future. With the launch of Creta Electric, Hyundai has already gained all the buzz it desires. Alongside, they also had a premium electric vehicle and a luxury MPV on display apart from two unique e-rickshaw concepts developed in collaboration with TVS. An electric SUV, a premium electric SUV, a luxury MPV and then rickshaws – doesn’t it look interesting? Let’s take a look at all the models, below:
The popular Hyundai Creta ventures into a new domain with the launch of its electric version. Unveiled at the Auto Expo 2025, the Creta Electric is priced between Rs 17.99 lakh and Rs 23.5 lakh (ex-showroom). It retains the design language of its ICE sibling, with subtle tweaks and EV-specific additions. The Creta Electric offers two battery pack options, a claimed range of over 473 km, five variants, and ten colour choices.

This humongous three-row SUV sits on top of the IONIQ lineup globally. The Hyundai Ioniq 9 made its debut at the Auto Expo 2025. While its India launch is yet to be confirmed, this premium 7-seater SUV is already available in global markets. It boasts numerous premium features, including a 12.3-inch dual-screen setup, a panoramic sunroof, an 8-speaker Bose sound system, and fully reclining, electrically adjustable front and second-row seats with a massage function. Built on the E-GMP platform shared with the Ioniq 5, the Ioniq 9 is expected to become Hyundai’s flagship offering in India upon its launch.

The Hyundai Staria was teased just before the Auto Expo 2025, and it was showcased in a striking white body paint at the Hyundai pavilion. Sharing the Hyundai-Kia N3 platform with the Kia Carnival, this premium MPV could become a viable option for niche premium MPV buyers in India. Although its India launch hasn’t been confirmed yet, if the possibility goes green, it could be priced from around Rs 60 lakh (ex-showroom).

Hyundai, in collaboration with TVS, unveiled two futuristic e-rickshaw concepts aimed at last-mile mobility solutions. Named the E3W Concept and E4W Concept, these models feature angular designs with sharp lines and a traditional open rickshaw-like structure. The E4W even includes a steering wheel arrangement. While these concepts showcase innovation, they are designed by Hyundai and will be produced by TVS.
