2026 looks poised to be an action-packed year as we expect a whole bunch of new bikes in the due course of the year. Out of these, here’s what we expect from the top 5 best-selling brands in India:
There are some really interesting bikes headed our way from the Hero MotoCorp stable, starting with the Xpulse 210 Dakar Edition. Next up could be the Karizma XMR 250 – with the 250cc liquid-cooled engine from the Xtreme 250R. Hero could also update the Mavrick 440 this year, with bits like a new USD fork, and new colours. The Xoom 160 maxi-scooter could also get a new Combat Edition with a new paint scheme, and perhaps a TFT console.

Honda could also bring a few bikes in India. First up could be the updated CB300R; the neo-retro bike was recently discontinued, but could have a new iteration coming in. It’s likely to comply with E20 fuel norms, and might also get a TFT screen with connectivity The Honda CB350 range could also be updated with new colours, and if we’re lucky, a revised console with turn-by-turn navigation as well. And if we were to be optimistic, Honda might just bring in the CBR500R in limited numbers too.

The Hosur-based brand could unveil a new bike based on the 420 platform – a la Apache RR 420 (might also be called the TVS Apache RR 450). The Apache RTR 310 could also be replaced by a new naked bike based on the RTX 300 platform. We can also expect some new variants of the TVS Orbiter electric scooter. Additionally, TVS is expected to bring in all the new Norton bikes that were unveiled at EICMA 2025 – Norton Atlas range, Norton Manx and the Manx R V4 – by the end of the year.

While Bajaj recently updated a couple of its bikes last month, there could be a new Pulsar 125 coming in this year. We can also expect Bajaj to unveil the new electric bike platform that will spawn Bajaj’s first electric bike. Bajaj might also bring in a few new models in the Chetak electric scooter range.

A slew of new Royal Enfield bikes are coming this year. The brand will launch the Bullet 650 early this year, followed by the Interceptor 750, and Continental GT 750 some time in the second half of the year. The brand’s electric bikes – the Flying Flea C6 should arrive by March, and the Flying Flea S6 by this festive season. Honourable mention of the Himalayan 750, of which we might just see the production version at EICMA 2026. That said, its launch could happen only in 2027.
