Updated Bajaj Pulsar 125 Reaches Dealerships

An updated version of the Bajaj Pulsar 125 has been sighted at dealerships, signalling that its official launch is just around the corner. The motorcycle receives a handful of features and cosmetic updates, primarily aimed at refreshing its appeal in the competitive 125cc segment. The most significant change is the adoption of a modern digital instrument cluster, alongside a new frame, engine and design.

What's Been Revealed

The main upgrade on the upcoming Bajaj Pulsar 125 is a new colour LCD instrument console. This unit appears to offer smartphone connectivity with turn-by-turn navigation, and SMS/call alerts. The motorcycle also features new graphics and updated overall design. It gets an all-new fascia, with aggressive looking DRLs, and a new clean looking tail-section. Beyond these changes, the basic silhouette remains the same. The hardware, including the telescopic fork, and an all-new rear monoshock along with a new frame.

The engine too is expected to be a new unit, which will most probably produce power and torque figures nearly the same as the current model. Other than this, the bike was seen with 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends, a front disc and rear drum brake setup, with no clarification if it gets ABS or not.

Pricing and Availability

Updated Bajaj Pulsar 125 Reaches Dealerships

Bajaj has not yet announced the official price for the updated Pulsar 125, however it is expected to be launched in a few days. With all the updates, its expected pricing could be around Rs 90,000 (ex-showroom). Once launched, it will compete with the TVS Raider 125, Hero Xtreme 125R and the Honda Shine 125.
