2027 Kawasaki Versys 1100 Launched In India At Rs 13.89 Lakh

Kawasaki has launched the 2027 Versys 1100 in India, with prices starting at Rs 13.89 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). However, if you were expecting a major update for the new model year, there isn’t much to report. The MY27 Versys 1100 remains absolutely unchanged from the 2026 motorcycle, carrying forward the same engine, features and and even the price tag.

Engine And Performance

The Kawsaki Versys 1100 continues to use a 1,099cc, liquid-cooled, inline-four engine. It produces 135 PS at 9,000rpm and 112 Nm at 7,600rpm, with the engine paired to a six-speed gearbox.

Kawasaki has also retained the motorcycle’s existing electronic rider aids, including traction control, power modes and cruise control. A bidirectional quickshifter is available as an optional accessory.

Features And Equipment

The adventure tourer continues with its relaxed riding position and an adjustable windscreen. It also gets a USB Type-C outlet mounted on the handlebar, along with a 12V DC socket.

The 2027 version continues with an LCD console, which displays information including speed, gear position, fuel level, trip meters, fuel consumption and range, among other parameters.

Price And Verdict

The 2027 Kawasaki Versys 1100 is priced the same as before. It is available in a single colour scheme: Metallic Matte Graphene Steel Gray/Metallic Diablo Black.

All said and done, the MY27 Versys 1100 is less of a new motorcycle and more of a model-year rollover, with Kawasaki carrying forward the same adventure-tourer package into 2027. That said, we would have appreciated it if the bike at least got a new colour scheme, let alone any small mechanical update.
