BMW Motorrad has unveiled the special editions of the M 1000 RR, M 1000 R and M 1000 XR. The special editions commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Nürburgring which is a famous race-track in Germany. The bikes get a green color, which goes well with the sporty silhouette. The green colour is a welcome addition and an Easter egg, as the Nürburgring Nordschleife has another nickname, the “Green Hell.”

All the bikes get the Nürburgring track silhouette on the fuel tank and come with an Alcantara seat as standard. The bikes also come with the M Track Package and carbon wheels. Also, other additions include a Nürburgring anniversary mat and a rear paddock stand with mounting pins as standard. 

BMW M 1000 XR

The M 1000 XR is more of a touring-focused bike, and the Nürburgring Edition makes the bike look sportier. It features a green tank with the Nordschleife silhouette in black, which elevates the overall look of the motorcycle.

The M 1000 RR is one of the meanest-looking bikes in BMW’s lineup, and the green shade makes the supersport look even sportier and sharper. The bike is built for the racetrack with carbon-fiber elements and aerodynamics, making it one of the fastest track machines available.

BMW M 1000 R

BMW M Bikes Special Edition

The M 1000 R is the naked sibling to the M 1000 RR, which also gets the special edition treatment and comes with the exclusive Nürburgring colour scheme. The bike comes with advanced electronic rider assistance systems and a race-developed chassis. 

ZigSays 

The new colours are striking and go really well with the overall design of the bikes. The German manufacturer has paid homage to the iconic track in Germany, where high-performance motorcycles and cars have been tested and which has played an important role in motorsport history. 

The bikes will be available from late 2027. The brand has not revealed the prices yet, and it is also unclear whether they will be available in India.
