The Kawasaki KLX 230 is a prime example of the magic that brands can do if they really want to. When it was first launched, the KLX was imported and thus priced to a point of ridicule. But Kawasaki pulled out the legendary Japanese knives and cut its price by almost 30 percent – they localised the production. It’s almost like Kawasaki took the phrase ‘go hard or go home’ personally.
