Kawasaki KLX230

Kawasaki India has launched the 2026 KLX230 at a price of Rs 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The pricing is Rs 1.30 lakh less now. The KLX230 now makes more power, and the underpinnings have been tweaked as well. Other changes include new graphics but the same paint schemes.

Price: The Kawasaki KLX230 is priced at Rs 2.19 lakh (ex-showroom).

Features: The bike has a LCD console with smartphone connectivity and related features such as call, SMS and email alerts. The bike also offers switchable ABS at the rear, which will allow for controlled slides.

Engine: The KLX230 is powered by a 233cc, 4-stroke, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 18.1PS at 8,000rpm and 18.3Nm at 6,400rpm.

Suspension, Brakes & Other Details: The KLX230 is built on a perimeter frame. In terms of suspension, it gets a 37mm telescopic fork with 220mm wheel travel and a linked monoshock with 223mm wheel travel. The bike gets a ground clearance of 255mm with a seat height of 880mm. The KLX230 S variant is built on the same platform but has a lower, 830mm seat height, which is 50mm lower than the standard model. The S variant has 160mm wheel travel up front and 163mm travel at the rear, which is 60mm lower on both ends compared to the standard variant. The ground clearance is also 35mm lower at 220mm. The bikes roll on a 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheel setup. The braking setup consists of a 290mm disc at the front and a 230mm rear disc, with switchable single-channel ABS. Both bikes have a 7.5-litre fuel tank and a kerb weight of 139kg.

Rivals: The KLX230 rivals the Hero Xpulse 210 and the KTM 390 Enduro R.

Variants: The Kawasaki KLX230 is available in two variants: KLX230 and the new KLX230 S. The S variant has a lower seat height and lower wheel travel.
