No styling changes seen, and we don’t expect any mechanical changes either

The updated Triumph Tracker 400 was recently spotted on test. The pictures reveal a couple of important feature updates on the bike.

The biggest update is the new 4-inch circular TFT console from the recently launched Bonneville T40. As seen on the new Bonnie, the display looks quite premium, and brings a suite of features like multiple display modes, smartphone connectivity, and Google Maps mirroring.

It also gets new 5-way switchgear on the left-hand side, which should make navigating through the display menus easier. Triumph could also bring in ride modes to the bike. The spyshots don’t show whether the cruise-control buttons exist or not. That said, we would like to see if Triumph gives the bike the feature to make it more appealing. 

Apart from all that, no mechanical or hardware changes can be seen on the test mule.

The flat tracker-inspired bike is currently priced at Rs 2,43,069 (ex-showroom, Delhi).With these updates, the price could be bumped up a bit. While the brand hasn't given the official launch timeline, we can expect it to be launched early to mid-next year.

If you were planning to get the bike this festive season, you can go ahead if you don’t mind missing out on the updated features. However, if you do, you will have to wait, and the cost could also go up, as mentioned.
