Hyundai Venue has youthful exterior design, easy ingress/egress, spot-on ergonomics, first-in-segment e-SIM tech, peppy and smooth 3-cylinder petrol, comfort-oriented suspension setup, etc. It is a perfect balance of size, features and machinery in its segment. It might not wow you in any particular manner, but it feels just right. Moreover, Kia Sonet has not been launched yet so it would be difficult to give any verdict for it. Do take a test drive for Venue in order to get better clarity. Check out authorised dealership details.
The Sonet is expected to make use of the Venue’s petrol engines: the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol and the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol. The diesel engine is likely to be borrowed from the Seltos, that is, the 1.5-litre diesel. All these engines are BS6 compliant. The only automatic for the SUV is expected to be the 7-speed DCT with the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine.
