This is the first price hike for the BS6-compliant flagship twins from the cult bikemaker

  • All the variants of the two bikes are now dearer by around Rs 1,800.
  • No other changes other than the prices.
  • The Interceptor 650 still remains the most value-for-money twin-cylinder 650cc bike in the country.

    • Along with the Classic 350 range, Royal Enfield has also hiked the prices of its flagship 650 twins in India. This is the first price hike for the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650 since the launch of their BS6-compliant versions a few months ago.     Fortunately, the price premium isn’t all that much and shouldn’t really affect your buying decision. Despite the price hike, the Royal Enfield 650 twins remain by far the most value-for-money motorcycles as far as multi-cylinder premium big bikes are concerned. 

    The Interceptor 650 has upright riding ergonomics coupled with an easy-to-reach single-piece, braced handlebar, bench seat, mid-set footpegs, and a 13.7-litre fuel tank. On the other hand, the Continental GT 650 gets clip-on handlebars, cafe racer-style seat, slightly rear-set footpegs, and a smaller 12.5-litre fuel tank.
