Bookings for the BS6 Bullet 350 range is open at select dealerships

  • The token amount stands at Rs 10,000 but may vary from dealer to dealer.
  • Expect Royal Enfield to launch the bike in the coming weeks.
  • Likely to get the same state of tune as the Classic 350 BS6.
  • Bookings for the Royal Enfield Bullet 350 BS6 have commenced unofficially at select dealerships across the country. One can book the bike by paying a token amount of Rs 10,000. It may vary from dealership to dealership, though. Expect the bikemaker to launch the motorcycle in the coming weeks. It is likely to command a premium of around Rs 10,000 to Rs 12,000 depending upon the variant.

The bike is expected to come in both kick start and electric start guises (which will be called Bullet 350 ES BS6). To give you a perspective, the standard Bullet 350 costs Rs 1,21,840 (ex-showroom Delhi).

Royal Enfield has been following the tradition of sharing its powertrains with multiple models, so expect the brand to plonk in the same engine as the recently launched Royal Enfield Classic 350 BS6. It makes 19.3PS (0.71PS less than the BS4-compliant model) at 5250rpm and 28Nm at 4000rpm and works in conjunction with a 5-speed transmission.

Expect Royal Enfield to retain the same telescopic front fork, twin rear shock absorbers/ gas-charged suspension, front 280mm disc brake and a rear 153mm drum unit, with single-channel ABS on the upcoming motorcycle. It might add new colours to freshen up the bike’s style quotient.

The Bullet 350 BS6 will be the last of Royal Enfield’s range to get BS6 compliance as the rest of the models have already been launched or have started reaching dealerships unofficially. In a related development, Royal Enfield has already confirmed that the 500cc range will be entirely discontinued once the BS6 emission deadline comes in on April 1, 2020. However, it will still continue making parts for the bikes so that owners don’t face a tough time maintaining their motorcycles.
