Soon after inaugurating its fifth dealership in India, Ducati has released a teaser pic of the XDiavel on its social media page confirming its India launch. The new Ducati XDiavel will be launched in our two-wheeler market on September 15th, 2016. The new motorcycle made its global debut at the 2015 EICMA motorcycle show, where it was also adjudged as the most beautiful bike of the show. The Ducati XDiavel is the first belt driven motorcycle in the legendary bikemaker’s portfolio and has been built specifically for the US market. The XDiavel is also the first proper cruiser bike from Ducati and has been positioned to challenge traditional cruiser offerings from Harley-Davidson and Indian Motorcycles. The Ducati XDiavel will be priced around Rs 16.3 lakh ex-showroom, Mumbai. It will rival the likes of the Indian Scout and the Harley-Davidson Street Bob in the Indian market. The Ducati XDiavel S will also be launched in our two-wheeler market and it carries a sticker price of Rs 19.2 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai). The cruiser motorcycle is powered by a 1,262cc mill with variable valve timing that makes 158PS of power and 129Nm of torque. It also features a launch control system that has been christened 'Ducati Power Launch' making the bike quick off the line. List of goodies include Ducati Safety Pack (Bosch cornering ABS + DTC), DPL (Ducati Power Launch), cruise control, Bluetooth connectivity, backlit handlebar switches etc.
