Bajaj Pulsar 220F Updated With LED Headlight And DRLs; Now Costs Rs 1,35,582

Quick Read:

  • New LED headlight replaces the dual-halogen unit

  • Costs Rs 2,030 more than before

  • Remains mechanically unchanged

The iconic Bajaj Pulsar 220F has received an update for 2026, this time gaining one of the most requested features from enthusiasts, an LED headlight. The motorcycle was last updated in December 2025 with revised graphics, LED indicators and new paint options.

LED Headlight Joins The Party

The biggest highlight of this update is the introduction of a new singular, LED projector headlight setup accompanied by redesigned LED DRLs. It replaces the older, dual, vertically-stacked halogen unit and should offer improved visibility while giving the Pulsar 220F a more modern appearance.

The new lighting setup has been neatly integrated into the bike's familiar semi-faired design. Apart from this change, the motorcycle remains visually identical to the outgoing version.

Available In Four Colours

Along with the LED headlight upgrade, Bajaj has also shuffled the Pulsar 220F's colour options. The Green Light Copper paint scheme has quietly been removed from the official website and replaced by a new Black Gold colourway. The updated motorcycle continues to be available in four colour options (Black Gold, Black Cherry Red,  Black Ink Blue and Black Copper Beige) overall and retains features such as LED indicators, a USB charging port and single-channel ABS.

No Mechanical Changes

Under the fairing, everything stays the same. The Pulsar 220F continues to be powered by the trusted 220cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine that churns out 20.9PS and 18.6Nm. The motor is paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The bike also retains its existing chassis, suspension setup and braking hardware.

Price Hiked

With the addition of the LED headlight and the new colour, Bajaj has increased the price of the Pulsar 220F. The motorcycle now costs Rs 1,35,582 (ex-showroom Delhi), which makes it Rs 2,030 more expensive than before.

Bajaj Pulsar 220F Side Profile

Still Going Strong After All These Years

Despite being one of the oldest motorcycles in Bajaj's lineup, the Pulsar 220F continues to enjoy a dedicated fan base. Its combination of sporty styling, comfortable ergonomics and proven performance has helped it remain relevant even as newer rivals have entered the segment.

The LED headlight was one of the few missing modern features on the Pulsar 220F, and its arrival was long overdue. The upgrade makes the motorcycle feel more up-to-date without altering the core formula that has made the 220F a favourite among Pulsar enthusiasts for nearly two decades.
