Bajaj has rolled out an updated version of the Pulsar 220F in India, giving the long-running faired motorcycle a light refresh for 2025. Spotted at dealerships ahead of its official announcement, the updates are subtle but noticeable, focusing largely on aesthetics and minor equipment changes. The new Bajaj Pulsar 220F is priced at Rs 1,28,490 (ex-showroom, Delhi), making it Rs 1,103 more expensive than the outgoing model. Here are the top five highlights of the updated Pulsar 220F.

1. New Colours With Revised Graphics

The Bajaj Pulsar 220F is now available in four new colour options: Black Cherry Red, Black Ink Blue, Black Copper Beige, and Green Light Copper. Each shade gets refreshed graphic schemes that look cleaner and slightly sportier than before. Despite the updates, the motorcycle retains its familiar blacked-out theme, which continues to be a defining design element of the 220F.

2. Expanded Use Of Carbon-Fibre-Style Stickers

Earlier, carbon-fibre-themed decals were limited to the front fender. With the update, Bajaj has extended this treatment to the headlight cowl and side panels, adding a bit more visual drama. Matching rim stickers now come as standard, tying the overall design together more cohesively.

3. LED Indicators Finally Make An Appearance

One of the most noticeable upgrades is the switch from bulky halogen turn indicators to sleek LED units. This change modernises the bike’s appearance and helps it look less dated, especially when viewed alongside newer rivals in the segment.

4. No Mechanical Or Safety Changes

Despite rumours suggesting otherwise, the Pulsar 220F does not get dual-channel ABS. Bajaj has confirmed that the motorcycle continues with single-channel ABS, as also mentioned on the brand’s official website. Apart from this, the bike remains mechanically unchanged.

5. Same Proven 220cc Engine

Powering the Pulsar 220F is the same 220cc, single-cylinder, air- and oil-cooled engine, producing 20.5PS and 18.55Nm. The chassis, suspension, and braking hardware have also been carried over, underlining Bajaj’s intent to keep the motorcycle familiar for its loyal customer base.

Even after nearly two decades on sale, the Pulsar 220F continues to hold its ground. While the new colours and LED indicators are welcome additions, a dual-channel ABS option would have gone a long way in keeping it competitive. That said, the modest Rs 1,103 price hike feels justified for the cosmetic and equipment tweaks on offer.
