This Carbon Fibre-clad Modified Royal Enfield Continental GT650 Looks Ready To Race!

Pune-based custom motorcycle builder, Autologue Design recently grabbed attention at IBW 2025 (India Bike Week), by showcasing a striking custom bike, based on the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650. It is inspired by the iconic Midas Royale, another custom bike based on the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650, made by Winston Yeh, the founder of Rough Crafts, Taiwan. These two custom houses have together made a new kit for the Continental GT 650, with the original’s design philosophy, featuring a similarly styled front fairing, tank cover, tail section and seat.

The custom house has also announced plans to offer this design as a kit, with the first 10 units being made entirely from carbon fibre, while the remaining kits will use FRP (Fibre Reinforced Polymer) to make it more accessible to enthusiasts.

The original Midas Royale is a custom motorcycle that showcases how performance engineering, and craftsmanship can come together seamlessly. Built on the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 platform, the Midas Royale reimagines the classic café racer with a strong racing influence, combined with an unmistakable sense of luxury and precision.

Visually, the Midas Royale is a dramatic departure from the stock motorcycle. It features bespoke carbon fibre bodywork, including a neatly sculpted fairing, tank cover and tail section. The transformation extends well beyond styling. The Midas Royale is equipped with high-end Öhlins suspension components, including inverted front forks and a rear monoshock, significantly improving handling and feedback. Lightweight carbon fibre wheels help reduce unsprung mass, enhancing agility, while premium Beringer brakes should provide strong and consistent stopping power. Ergonomics are sharpened with low-set clip-on handlebars, rear-set footpegs, and a minimalistic cockpit. While the 648cc parallel-twin engine remains largely stock, upgrades such as a high-flow intake and a custom exhaust system should help eke out more horsepower.

Royal Enfield GT 650 Based Custom Bike

On the other hand, the one built by Autologue is a bit more grounded, yet bursting at its seams with character. The custom carbon-fibre part looks really well-made, and can be a fantastic easy-to-modify (sort of) option to those who already own a stock Continental GT 650.
