Tata Sierra: The Comeback SUV

The Tata Sierra comes back with a huge stride in design and technology. While prices are to be announced on November 25, 2025, the new Sierra will fight in the highly competitive compact SUV segment, looking at a retail price between Rs 15 lakh and Rs 25 lakh ex-showroom. It will be positioned as a premium alternative to the already existing Tata Curvv, which also finds itself in this segment with an ICE and EV version. It combines retro cues from the original Sierra with a modern appearance, featuring a full-width LED light bar, prominent badging, a textured grille, and bold body panels. Mahindra XEV 9S: Electric Seven-seater Ambition

The Mahindra XEV 9S stands in a league of its own for buyers who look further ahead into the future of mobility. The all-electric, three-row SUV will hit the Indian shores on November 27, 2025. Underpinned by the INGLO platform, the XEV 9S promises space, electric power, and practicality together in a segment still very much in its infancy in India. Expected Price: Rs 17 lakh- Rs 22.50 lakh

The Maruti Suzuki e Vitara will be the entry of the brand in the electric SUV segment in India. It's slated to launch on December 2, 2025, and will come with a fully-electric powertrain. Two battery pack options are also rumoured: 49 kWh and 61 kWh, with claimed ranges of over 400 km for the 61kWh battery pack.

Inside, the e Vitara is likely to boast Level-2 ADAS, twin digital displays, a modern dashboard and premium packaging in line with Maruti's NEXA channel. For buyers prepared to move into electric early, the e Vitara offers a credible mix of brand trust and future-proofing.

Next-gen Kia Seltos: Hybrid Incoming?

India Debut: December 10 

Expected Price: Rs 11.30 - 22 lakh 

Although the next-gen Kia Seltos has not been launched in India yet, the SUV continues to be one of the most-awaited models for early 2026. Kia has announced that the global debut will happen on December 10, 2025, with prices expected in the first half of 2026.

But Kia is not tinkering with an already successful formula. The new-gen Seltos will retain a tried-and-tested engine lineup comprising a 1.5-litre NA petrol, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol, and a 1.5-litre diesel, paired with a mix of manual, CVT, torque-converter and DCT gearboxes. Much more promising, though, is Kia's new strong-hybrid system. It pairs a 1.6-litre petrol with an electric motor, though its India launch is still not confirmed.
