2026 Maruti Brezza LAUNCHED! Updated SUV With Design Tweaks, Turbo-petrol Engine And New Features Starts From…

After a lot of anticipation, Maruti has finally launched the Brezza facelift at a price of Rs 7.40 lakh (ex-showroom). Besides minor exterior and feature tweaks, enthusiasts now have the option of a more powerful turbo-petrol engine, while CNG customers also get an upgrade with an underbody dual-cylinder kit. 2026 Maruti Brezza: Exterior

With this facelift, Maruti does not want to shake things up too much, and the changes in the design language are largely restricted to the front-end styling. Starting from the new slimmer grille, which is now finished in chrome compared to grey in the outgoing car. You also have a reworked bumper which features a silver insert on the lower air dam, faux skid plate and triangular surrounds for the LED foglamps. 

In profile, the only change is a revised design for the 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, and the SUV continues with its boxy stance, thick black cladding, silver roof rails and blacked-out A-, B- and C-pillars.

You’d be hard-pressed to note changes at the rear-end as well, with a slightly reworked bumper being the only noticeable difference compared to the pre-facelift version.

The Brezza facelift is available with two new colour options called Vivacious Orange and Luster Beige. These are offered in addition to existing shades such as Arctic White, Sizzling Red, Magma Grey, Pearl Bluish Black and Splendid Silver. Of these, the Red, White and Beige shades can be had with a dual-tone paint scheme as well.

Inside, the immediate change you would notice is the larger touchscreen infotainment borrowed from the Victoris.

The seats are now draped in brown leatherette upholstery with the rear occupants also getting winged headrests, while the steering wheel insert is now finished in gloss black. 

However, besides this it remains identical to the pre-facelift car, with a spacious cabin, the climate control panel which is also borrowed from the Victoris, slim AC vents and an upright dashboard.

2026 Maruti Brezza: Features And Safety

Equipment-wise, the 2026 Brezza sees a few notable additions. These include a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 64-colour ambient lighting, ventilated front seats and an air purifier. Other features on offer include an auto-dimming IRVM, a 6-speaker ARKAMYS sound system, automatic climate control, heads-up display and connected car technology.

Safety has been given an upgrade too with the addition of front parking sensors, tyre pressure monitoring system and select Level 1 ADAS functions such as rear cross traffic alert, blind spot warning and safe exit warning. Besides this, it retains its feature set in this department including 6 airbags, electronic stability control, hill start assist, rear parking sensors and a 360-degree camera.

2026 Maruti Brezza: Powertrains

On the surface, the new Brezza may not feel like a huge departure, but under the hood, the story is different. You still get the 1.5-litre NA petrol engine with manual and automatic transmission, but what is new is a 1-litre turbo-petrol engine, seen previously in the Fronx.

Furthermore, the CNG powertrain option also employs a dual-cylinder underbody-mounted kit freeing up boot space. Here are the detailed specifications of the SUV:
