The 2026 Maruti Suzuki Brezza facelift has arrived with its first major update since the second-generation model was introduced in 2022. While the overall silhouette remains familiar, Maruti has refreshed the SUV with updated styling, new features, and a few mechanical changes to keep it in line with newer rivals in the segment.

The cabin has also received feature upgrades, while buyers now get more powertrain choices than before. So, if you are planning to buy the updated Brezza or simply want to know what's new, here are 17 images explaining everything the facelift has to offer.

Front

The front of the updated Brezza looks largely familiar, but Maruti has introduced a few subtle styling changes to freshen up its appearance.

The grille now gets a revised design, while the signature garnish has also been updated. On the higher-spec variants, the earlier silver garnish has been replaced by a gold finish, giving the front a more premium look.

The redesigned LED headlamps and revised bumper complete the update, while the upright stance and muscular proportions continue to give the Brezza a strong SUV presence.

Side

From the side, the Brezza retains its familiar proportions, but the refreshed 16-inch alloy wheel design gives it a fresher look.

The pronounced wheel arches, body cladding, roof rails and squared-off stance continue to add to its SUV character.

The overall silhouette remains unchanged, ensuring that the Brezza continues to look rugged.

Rear

Unlike the front, the rear of the Brezza remains largely unchanged.

It continues with the same wraparound LED tail lamps, roof spoiler, shark-fin antenna and signature 'BREZZA' lettering on the tailgate.

The familiar bumper design and overall layout have also been retained.

Interior

Step inside and you'll notice that the cabin receives a more noticeable update than the exterior.

The dashboard has been redesigned with a new layout, complemented by a new steering wheel and refreshed door pad inserts that make the cabin look more modern.

Depending on the variant, buyers also get a new brown and black dual-tone interior theme, along with brown seat upholstery that lends the cabin a richer appearance.

Maruti has also updated the climate control panel and redesigned the front centre armrest with additional storage, improving both the look and practicality of the cabin.

While the overall quality has seen some improvements, hard plastics continue to be used across several areas.

Rear passengers get amenities such as rear AC vents, USB charging ports, seatback pockets and a centre armrest with cup holders, while the wide-opening doors make getting in and out easier.

Features

Maruti has updated the Brezza's feature list with a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and ventilated front-row seats.

Other features include a wireless phone charger, heads-up display, automatic climate control, connected car technology and a single-pane sunroof.

With the 2026 Brezza facelift, front parking sensors are a new addition to the safety package. 

Other safety features include 6 airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), a 360-degree camera, and rear parking sensors.

Engine Options

The updated Brezza is now offered with two petrol engine options. The familiar 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine continues in the lineup.

Buyers looking for lower running costs can also opt for the factory-fitted CNG version, which now benefits from the new dual-cylinder underbody technology, freeing up more boot space than before.

Price And Rivals

Maruti has priced the 2026 Brezza facelift from Rs 7.40 lakh (ex-showroom). It continues to rival popular sub-compact SUVs including the Hyundai Venue, Maruti Fronx, Kia Sonet and Syros, Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor, Tata Nexon, Skoda Kylaq, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Renault Kiger and Nissan Magnite.

With updates to its design, feature list, and powertrain options, the Brezza facelift brings meaningful changes, while continuing to offer the practicality buyers expect from it.

Maruti has very obviously kept the design refresh of the new Brezza to a minimum to keep the model familiar. However, the changes made under the skin cannot be ignored. The underbody CNG integration, the brand new 6-speed manual transmission and the 1-litre turbo petrol has enabled the Brezza to capture a wider audience and at a lower price than before. And yet again, Maruti can sing themselves winner-winner, chicken dinner.
