Amid much fanfare, Tata Motors has unveiled the 2025 Sierra today. Besides the new exterior design, the Compact SUV gets a modern and futuristic interior as well. But how luxurious is it? Here is the interior design explained in 7 real-life images:
Just like we saw in the teasers before, the new Sierra features a dual-tone black-white interior design with all sorts of modern amenities. Starting off from the party piece, you have the three-screen layout on the dashboard consisting of the digital instrument cluster, touchscreen infotainment system and a passenger entertainment screen as well.

Borrowed from other siblings like the Harrier and Curvv, the Sierra also gets a four-spoke gloss black steering wheel with an illuminated logo for a futuristic effect.

Just below the centre AC vents, you will see an interesting panel, which is actually a soundbar for the 12-speaker JBL Black sound system! Moving on to the centre console, it features a stubby gearshift knob with a ‘floating’ effect and a centre armrest for the driver and co-driver too.

On to the rear seat, it is clear from the pictures that rear occupants will be happy with a massive panoramic sunroof bringing in an airy feeling and a ‘boss mode’ for the front seat. Besides this, they also get large windows, dedicated sunshades and rear ac vents as well.

In terms of equipment, we can now confirm that the Sierra will come with the aforementioned panoramic sunroof, powered driver seat, a 12-speaker JBL Black sound system and ventilated front seats. It is also likely to include dual-zone climate control, wireless chargers, a powered tailgate, drive modes and connected car technology.

As for safety, it is likely to see a Level 2 ADAS suite, 7 airbags, electronic parking brake with auto-hold, electronic stability control, hill hold assist, 360 degree camera and front and rear parking sensors.
Under the hood, Tata is expected to equip the Sierra with a choice of 1.5-litre T-GDI turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines, both of which are likely to be offered with a choice of manual and automatic transmissions. While details are not out yet, this is what we think will be the powertrain specification of the new Sierra.

Our eyes are on the 25 November launch date, which is when Tata Motors will reveal the prices of the new Sierra. Tata’s new Compact SUV is likely to sit in the price range of Rs 12 lakh to Rs 20 lakh(ex-showroom). It will rival cars like the Hyundai Creta, upcoming Nissan Tekton, Maruti Grand Vitara and Victoris, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Citroen Aircross and even the upcoming Renault Duster.
Tata’s much-awaited Sierra has finally taken its wraps off, and from the looks of it, it seems like a well-packaged SUV with a sophisticated and feature-packed interior. Now all eyes are on the pricing, which will be announced on 25 November!
