2026 Tata Nexon Camo Edition Launched: Does It Get Sweeter For The Urban Jungle?

Tata launches yet another edition of the Nexon called the Camo Edition. Prices start at Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards and are only available in the Creative and Fearless trims. Let’s explore what more you get for the same starting price.

2026 Tata Nexon Camo Edition: Design

The Nexon Camo edition carries the same shape and design as the regular Nexon. The Camo edition, however, does come with two new colours, Munnar Mist and Coorg Cloud. Apart from that, the Camo edition gets Camo badging on the front fenders.

The exterior design of the Nexon Camo is familiar thanks to the round, bulbous front end, giving it an imposing SUV look. The slim LED DRLs and the large air dam below also help accentuate the Nexon’s road presence. 

The LED headlamps and foglamps are placed at the outer edges of the bumper, giving it a wider look. Notice the air curtain below the headlamps, which aids in better aero efficiency. 

Coming to the side profile, the Nexon has a soft and flowy design language unlike its compact SUV rivals. This boasts a typical crossover design flow which starts from the front end and flows to the rear seamlessly. The addition of the roof spoiler, shark fin antenna, and dual-tone 16-inch alloy wheels gives the Nexon a premium and purposeful look. 

Moving on to the rear, the Nexon’s connected LED tail lamp is recognisable from a distance thanks to its X-shaped design. The neat-looking bootlid also houses the Tata logo proudly in the centre, and the Nexon branding down below. 

The bumpers house the reverse lamps and reflectors on the corners, while the number plate and the parking sensors sit on the centre portion. The rear look is finished off with a neatly integrated faux silver skid plate on the bottom. 

2026 Tata Nexon Camo Edition: Interior

The interior of the Tata Nexon Camo edition is almost identical to the regular Nexon, but for the Camo branding on the front headrests. The black and grey colour theme on the interior gives the Nexon a decent vibe inside thanks to the minimalist design. The low-set dashboard houses the floating touchscreen infotainment, which grabs the most attention on the dashboard. The driver gets a two-spoke steering with an illuminated Tata logo.

The overall fit and finish, though not best in class, is reasonable, with a leatherette finish for the common touchpoints and a gloss black finish giving the interior a premium look. Interior space is also nothing much to complain about apart from the lack of cup holders and storage on the centre console. Though the manual variants now get a cup holder, one can realistically only store keys, coins or parking tickets in it and not even a small water bottle.

2026 Tata Nexon Camo Edition: Features And Safety

The new Nexon Camo edition gets small feature upgrades, including a larger 12.30-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The 360-degree camera now also doubles up as a dashcam with an auto-record feature. The car would detect an incident and record the last 2 minutes and the post 3 minutes following the sensed incident so it is easy to recover the footage. The system has an inbuilt 1 GB storage but is expandable with a USB pendrive up to 256 GB. 

Other features include a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, wireless charging, panoramic sunroof, keyless entry with engine push-button start, and a 9-speaker JBL-branded sound system, ventilated seats and connected car technology.

Safety kit includes ABS with EBD, 360-degree camera, front and rear parking sensors, 6 airbags, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), ISOFIX child seat mounts, and rain-sensing wipers.

2026 Tata Nexon Camo Edition: Powertrain Options

The Tata Nexon Camo edition is available with three engine options. A 1.2-litre turbo petrol, a 1.2-litre turbo petrol with CNG and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The CNG-powered engine is only available with a manual transmission. Powertrain specifications are as follows:

The Tata Nexon Camo edition is launched at Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards. These are in line with the regular Nexon in comparison to the Creative and Fearless variants.

The Nexon goes against the likes of the Hyundai Venue, Skoda Kylaq, Maruti Brezza and Fronx, Kia Sonet and Syros and the Mahindra XUV3XO.
