Oben Plans To Open 10 More Showrooms In Maharashtra By March 2026

Bengaluru-based EV brand Oben Electric is gearing up to expand its presence by adding more showrooms and service centres this financial year. The manufacturer says that due to high demand for its recently launched model, Rorr EZ Sigma, new showrooms will be opening soon, particularly in Maharashtra.

The company currently operates five outlets in the state of Maharashtra: four in Pune (Wakad, Shivajinagar, Dhankawadi, and Chinchwad) and one in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (earlier called Aurangabad). The EV maker plans to add ten more outlets in this financial year (by the end of March 2026). With the planned expansion, Oben aims to cover all major cities across Maharashtra, a state it calls one of the early adopters of electric mobility, after Bengaluru.

Oben says each new showroom will also double up as a service centre, staffed with certified technicians to handle its in-house developed batteries, motors, and vehicle control units. The company claims most service issues are resolved within three days.

Not from Maharashtra? Don’t worry! Oben has set up over 50 showrooms in cities such as Bengaluru, Delhi, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kochi, and Lucknow. It plans to scale its network to 150 outlets nationwide by the end of this financial year. So it's only a matter of time until an Oben showroom is just around the corner. The brand also recently announced festive schemes with up to Rs 10,000 cashback, limited-period prices across the Oben Rorr EZ range, a complimentary gold coin with every purchase, and also a lucky draw contest to win an iPhone.  

The Rorr EZ Sigma 

The Oben Rorr EZ Sigma, which starts at Rs 1.29 lakh (ex-showroom), is available in two battery options (a 3.4 kWh and a 4.4 kWh) and promises a range of up to 175km. It offers three riding modes, a claimed top speed of 95kmph, and comes with features such as a reverse mode, a 5-inch TFT display with navigation, among others.
