When it comes to homegrown electric two-wheelers, Oben Electric has quickly made a name for itself. The Bengaluru-based EV-maker has introduced the Rorr EZ Sigma, a commuter motorcycle that takes the original Rorr and amps it up to the next level by making it sharper, more connected, and more city-ready. With bolder styling, new-age features, and increased practicality, this electric motorcycle aims to stand out in the ever-growing, crowded EV space in India.
The Oben Rorr EZ Sigma’s look has been refreshed to appear more sporty, while practical updates make it a lot more commuter-friendly. At the heart of the new features is a 5-inch TFT instrument console that not only shows ride information but also supports turn-by-turn navigation, call/message alerts, and even music notifications.
Adding to that is a dedicated reverse mode, which makes reversing out of tight parking spaces a seamless affair. The manufacturer has also reworked the seat design based on riders’ feedback, ensuring better comfort for long city rides or weekend getaways.

The Oben Rorr EZ Sigma is powered by an electric motor that makes 286Nm of torque at wheels, allowing the bike to do a claimed sprint from 0-40kmph in just 3.3 seconds. The top variant comes with a 4.4kWh LFP battery pack, offering an IDC-claimed range of 175km. Three riding modes: Eco, City, and Havoc, allow the rider to switch between efficiency and performance on the go.

In real-world terms, the claimed riding ranges stand at around:

Ride quality is another strong point of the Rorr EZ Sigma. With a monoshock at the rear, wider tyres, ample ground clearance of 200mm, and a manageable kerb weight of 148kg, the Sigma feels planted yet nimble. The bike can glide over bad patches without losing composure thanks to its 7-step adjustable monoshock. It feels light in traffic, and inspires confidence during quick direction changes.

The 5-inch “colour” TFT console can also be connected to the Oben app, which unlocks features like ride diagnostics, live tracking, remote diagnostics, smart alerts, and even a charging station locator. The app also gives riders a monthly report on fuel cost savings and reduced CO2 emissions.
Charging is quite straightforward too. The 3.4kWh variant takes 1.5 hours (0-80%), while the 4.4kWh version takes about 2 hours. The LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery, beyond just being efficient, is quite well-suited for Indian conditions thanks to its heat resistance, comparatively longer life cycle, consistent performance and fast charging capability.
On the comfort side, the redesigned premium seat ensures long hours in the saddle don’t feel tiring. Despite being a motorcycle, Oben has added practical storage solutions: An under-seat storage space for the charger and a tank cubby with dual USB charging ports.

The Oben Rorr EZ Sigma has two battery pack variants: a 3.4kWh and a 4.4kWh, priced at Rs 1.27 lakh and Rs 1.37 lakh (ex-showroom, introductory) respectively. The Oben Rorr is easy on the pocket as well. Even after a full day of mixed riding, the Rorr EZ Sigma proves to be much more than a cosmetic update. It feels like a genuine evolution of the platform by being faster, smarter, and more convenient. For a rider with a daily commute of around 15km, this EV can comfortably last nearly a week without a recharge.
