Kinetic Green E-Luna Pre Bookings Open

Kinetic Green is all set to bring back their iconic multi-utility two-wheeler, Luna, in an electric avatar. The all-new Kinetic E-Luna is set to launch in early February 2024.

Kinetic has officially announced that the bookings will be open for the E-Luna from January 26 onwards. Customers will be able to pre-book the electric Luna from Kinetic Green’s official website for just Rs 500/-.

The electric moped continues to have a simple and practical design similar to the OG Luna. The round halogen headlight is placed inside a square nacelle, accompanied by bulb-type indicators, and the electric moped comes with square-shaped rear-view mirrors. The E-Luna also gets a leg guard. It has a wide floorboard which houses the battery pack underneath. We expect the E-Luna to have a top speed of 50kmph, the electric moped is likely to feature 16-inch wire-spoked wheels and drum brakes at both ends.

The original Luna was equipped with a 50cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine, providing just enough power for everyday tasks. Additionally, riders had the convenience of pedals if the 4-litre fuel tank ran empty.

We expect the upcoming Kinetic E-Luna to be priced at around Rs 80,000 (ex-showroom). The electric moped will compete against the Okinawa Dual 100 and will be an electric alternative to the TVS XL 100.
