The iconic Luna has completed its comeback in an electric form as Kinetic Green has launched the Kinetic E-Luna. 

What’s The Price? Who Are Its Rivals?

The Kinetic E-Luna has been launched in two variants: X1 and X2 with price tags of Rs 69,990 and Rs 74,990 (both ex-showroom Delhi). It is available in 5 colour options: Mulberry Red, Ocean Blue, Pearl Yellow, Sparkling Green and Night Star Black. Its main rival will be the Okinawa Dual 100.

Well, since this is a completely new electric moped, everything is completely in this model. Here are the highlights: 

- 2kWh capacity swappable battery with a claimed range of 110km per charge in the X2 variant

- 1.7kWh capacity swappable battery with a claimed range of 80km per charge in the X1 variant

- 2.2kW peak power output mid-mounted motor; top speed: 50kmph

- Telescopic fork and dual shock absorber suspension setup

- Drum brakes at both ends

- Payload capacity: 150kg

- Kerb Weight: 96kg

- Ground Clearance: 170mm

- Wheelbase: 1,335mm

- 16-inch spoke wheels

Features-wise, the electric moped comes equipped with a fully digital LCD instrument console, side-stand sensor, a USB charging port and bag hooks for carrying utilities. Also, the E-Luna gets a detachable rear seat that can be very valuable for carrying around things like cylinders or boxes for delivery purposes.
