The Pulsar 125 and NS 125 dominate the sales figures in the Rs 1-2 lakh price bracket, selling more than twice the number of Apaches sold. In fact, we’re expecting the sales to rocket further with the launch of the 2022 Pulsar 150 and the Pulsar N160. That said, the Pulsar 125’s top variant retails at Rs 88,902 (ex-showroom Delhi) and SIAM’s data figures display only the combined figures.
Talking about the Apache series, it witnessed the biggest, 263 percent increase in the number of units sold, compared to April 2022. The rest of the list was completely dominated by Yamaha. That said, the FZ series, MT-15 and R15 series, all three saw a decline in the number of bikes sold as compared to the previous month. The pricey MT-15 saw the biggest decrease in the entire list.
Another surprise came in the form of the Honda Unicorn. While the bike was able to sell 13,173 units last month, it was able to manage only 3,133 units this month.
