Hero has revealed bookings details of the XPulse 210 & Xtreme 250R
Customers can book both bikes starting from March 20, 2025
Deliveries of both will likely begin from April 2025
Hero MotoCorp has revealed that bookings for the XPulse 210 and the Xtreme 250R will begin from March 20, 2025. Both the bikes were launched at Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. Hero had initially planned to start the bookings of both bikes (along with Xoom 160 and Xoom 125), in February 2025. Deliveries were supposed to begin from March 2025. However, Hero has now revealed the booking date for the Xtreme 250R and XPulse 210 as March 20, 2025 via their social media.
Now, with the announcement of the bookings date it looks like customers who wanted to get the Hero XPulse 210 and the Hero Xtreme 250R will have to wait a bit longer. The deliveries of both the bikes could begin in April 2025.
The Hero XPulse 210 is the brand’s latest dual-sport motorcycle, and one which is a big upgrade from the Hero XPulse 200 4V. It is priced at Rs 1,75,800 for the base variant, and the top variant is priced at Rs 1,85,800 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Xpulse 210 is powered by a 210cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine which produces 24.6PS and 20.7Nm, working alongside a 6-speed gearbox. The bike features a long travel suspension setup which comprises a telescopic fork and a linked monoshock. The telescopic fork offers a wheel travel of 210mm, whereas the monoshock offers a wheel travel of 205mm. While the XPulse was already a great performer off the road, the 210cc iteration solves its biggest shortcoming: decent highway performance.
The Hero Xtreme 250R on the other hand is a streetfighter based on the Hero’s brand new 250cc platform. It comes at a price of Rs 1,79,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The bike is powered by a 250cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine which outputs 30PS and 25Nm. It features a gold-finished inverted fork and monoshock, and rolls on 17-inch alloys at both ends. Hero has taken its own sweet time to enter the 250cc segment, but the wait seems to be worth it as the Xtreme 250R ticks all the right boxes when it comes to an aggressive looking, feature-packed naked bike.
The Hero XPulse 210 will go up against the Kawasaki KLX 230, which is the only other road-legal dual-sport bike available in India. On the other hand, the Hero Xtreme 250R will compete with the Suzuki Gixxer 250 and KTM 250 Duke. Both bikes are available at Hero Permia dealerships, which is a network of premium dealerships that cater to both bikes, along with Hero Mavrick 440, Karizma XMR, XPulse 200 4V and the Hero Xtreme 160R (Standard and 4V).
