Design: The Simple Wave gets a conventional design, marking a significant departure from the sharper and sportier styling seen on the Simple One and Ultra electric scooters. It gets an apron-mounted LED headlight along with an LED DRL on the handlebar cowl. The scooter also gets a long, single-piece seat, a spacious floorboard, and side storage pods on the side for added storage convenience. Overall, the scooter looks quite modern and should appeal to buyers looking for a family-oriented electric scooter. The scooter is available in 6 colour options: Pearl White, Polar Blue, Forest Green, Coral Red, Twilight Black, Dolphin Grey
Features: The scooter gets a 7-inch TFT console or a 5-inch LCD console, depending on the variant. The TFT-equipped variants get Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, GPS tracking, call and music controls, USB charging, and over-the-air (OTA) updates. The scooter also gets additional features such as traction control, regenerative braking, hill hold assist, reverse mode, crawl mode and vehicle tracking functions. In terms of practicality, the scooter gets up to 70 litres of storage, including up to 63 litres of underseat storage, a 4-litre side storage pod and a 3-litre storage compartment on the apron.
Motor: The scooter is available with four battery pack options, offering claimed IDC ranges of 243 km, 171 km, 132 km and 110 km. It gets a 6.4 kW motor with a claimed top speed of 90 kmph. The base 2.2 kWh variant gets a smaller 4.5 kW motor and a top speed of 70 kmph.
Suspension, Brakes & Other Details: The Wave is equipped with a telescopic fork, a monoshock, and 12-inch wheels at both ends. Braking duties are handled by a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear. The scooter has a seat height of 775 mm, with a ground clearance of 175 mm.
