Must Read Questions & Answers Before Buying Hector

Q. Which car to choose, Hector or XUV 700?
  • Both cars are good in their own forte. The XUV700 comes across as a very sensible, usable and family-friendly machine that packs potent engines and incredible segment-first safety technology. On the other hand, new features like the ventilated seats, wireless charging and auto-dimming IRVM all add value for a small increase in price for MG Hector. New interiors brighten up the spacious cabin. The updates add more value to what was already a feature-packed package and should make the buying decision easier for most. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test drive for a better understanding of performance and comfort. Click on the link and select your desired city and brand for dealership details.
Q. What's the difference between dct&cvt?
  • A dual-clutch transmission (DCT) uses two separate shafts with their own clutches for gear shifts: one shaft for odd-numbered gears and the other for even-numbered gears. This type of automatic transmission is purely a performance-oriented transmission that also delivers good fuel efficiency but comes at a penalty of higher manufacturing cost. On the other hand, a CVT uses pulleys or belts for gear shifting. The use of belts or pulleys instead of steel gears results in variable gear ratios dependent on engine speed or RPM. As a result, this helps it deliver better fuel economy and a smooth and jerk-free drive. Read More: - Automatic Transmissions: DCT vs CVT vs AMT vs Torque Converter
Q. Is XUV700 bigger like MG Hector in length, width and height? Shall I look for Kia Seltos or XUV700?
  • Mahindra XUV700 has dimensions of Length*Width*Height: 4695*1890*1755 mm^3 and MG Hector has dimensions of Length*Width*Height: 4655*1835*1760 mm^3. Selecting the right car would depend on several factors such as your budget preference on the segment, features required, cabin space, engine options, brand preference, etc. The Seltos impressed us So much that all we could complain about was a lack of under thigh support and the rather stiff ride quality. There are even choices galore in terms of variants, trim, and equipment levels. And more than anything its pricing makes it one of the hottest picks in the segment. Kia Seltos is currently available in Petrol and Diesel engines. The 1497 cc Petrol engine generates a power of 113.42bhp@6300rpm and torque of 144nm@4500rpm. The 1493 cc Diesel engine generates a power of 113.42bhp@4000rpm and torque of 250nm@1500-2750rpm. The XUV700 comes across as a very sensible, usable, and family-friendly machine that packs potent engines and incredible segment-first safety technology. Mahindra XUV700 is currently available in Petrol and Diesel engines. The 1999 cc Petrol engine generates a power of 197.13bhp@5000rpm and torque of 380nm@1750-3000nm. The 2198 cc Diesel engine generates a power of 152.87bhp@3750rpm and torque of 360nm@1500-2800rpm. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test drive before making the final decision. More Questions
Q. I am confused whether to go with Hector or Seltos top variant with automatic gears and petrol option?
  • The Seltos impressed us So much that all we could complain about was a lack of under-thigh support and the rather stiff ride quality. It offers great interiors and cabin experience. And more than anything its pricing makes it one of the hottest picks in the segment. On the other hand, the Hector, though, strikes a healthy middle ground. It offers an unmatched technology package with no real compromise on daily usability or practicality. It offers better power and it is spacious too. You may compare both cars accordingly. Do take a test drive in order to get better clarity. Check out authorised dealership details.
  • No idea.
Q. I am planning to buy SUV in the range of 25 lacs kindly suggest which SUV would be better. Few options shortlisted are Kia seltos, MG Hector & Jeep Compass?
  • Selecting a car depends on certain factors such as your budget, features required, preference of the segment, powertrain options, etc. If you are eyeing for a premium, rugged yet aspirational compact-SUV then the Jeep Compass would be a great option. Thanks to the contemporary design and the soft touch materials, it now feels near luxurious on the inside. Also, with the quieter riding suspension setup, Jeep even seems to have tweaked the ride characteristics of the Compass to make it everyday-commute friendly. It feels proper premium in all areas now, both in terms of the features it packs, the experience in the cabin and the way it drives. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. • If comfort and space is your primary factor - then Hector is very very good in that regard, harrier and seltos doesn't come close to it in terms of space. However if cosmetics, vehicle features and mileage is important, skip the hector completely.
  • Check out Volkswagen T-Roc, Jeep Compass or Harrier if you are spending above 20lakhs
Q. My Budget is 20 lakhs. I am looking to buy an SUV. Confused between Jeep Compass Sport (petrol) Vs Hector Sharp (Petrol). Can you please suggest and guide me about which is the best in terms performance, features and mileage.
  • Selecting a perfect car depends on certain factors such as your budget, features required, space on offer, preference of the segment, etc. If you want a performance-oriented SUV with a powerful petrol engine and can live with fewer features, then you may opt for the base-spec variant of Jeep Compass. On the other hand, if you want an extensive feature list, better fuel efficiency and a spacious cabin then the MG Hector would be a better pick. The updates add more value to what was already a feature-packed package and should make the buying decision easier for most. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test drive before making the final decision. I drive many cars like audi, Creta, Innova, But driving experiance and comfort level is best in all best thing is smooth driving and very quite inside the car, you can feel the laxury like top notch leather seat, Big size touch screen, Big full size sunroof, Best space compare to any car, Large boot space, Many latest functions, And the power of driving an suv is prety good.I cant say wrost thing but mileage is less but on performance and the size the car it is enough i got 11 in city 15.5 at highwayif you can get audi and mercedes like function, Power, Safety and quality interiors in just half price and huge spece then why should we go for another car.I think it is best car to buy in 18-24 lac budget.
