Reliable and Comfortable Daily Companion

A win for the riders is witnessed in the gas-saving Jupiter with reliability and usual comfort of daily commuting through government areas for riding solo. The customers perceive the peppiness of its engine, smoothness of performance, and fuel efficiency as its strong points in city rides, making it a perfect match for that type of a ride. Apart from the extremely sufficient under-seat storage with built-in vanity mirror, the comfortable seating with low maintenance costs is also a highlight of this song. Conversely, the few users who complain declare the need for a better suspension for bumpy roads to be top priority, and they recommend refining its wheel braking for utmost safety.

Trouble Free Way Around.

The TVS Jupiter proves itself by its competitive on road price and its great fuel economy, which as a result reduce commuting costs. Both the ride quality and the car's looks, with their impressive appearance, would lure the glances of others. Space is provided for comfort by making seats roomier and the operation of the engine smoother. The abundant free storage would be an asset for the urban beings. Different colors are for people with different tastes. Features like disc brakes as well as LED lighting no doubt contribute to feel safer.

Jupiter reliability

I have used the TVS Jupiter scooter for a while. It has been a dependable vehicle. The TVS Jupiter is one of the most affordable scooters in its class. This is a big advantage. The ride feels smooth. The fuel efficiency of this scooter is impressive. However, the build quality could be better. Some parts do not seem very sturdy. The storage space under the seat is small. Despite these minor issues, the TVS Jupiter is a good choice. It is a budget-friendly and fuel-efficient scooter.

Outer body

3.4

Writing this review After 1 Year of riding. I though it would be great to share my experience. 1. Mileage - 44 Km/Litre(This is guaranteed, I have atleast 50+ reading average data. If you ride on 50 to 60 Speed without changing speed too quickly. 2. PICK UP - Quick accelerator is not that good.Honda activa is better and Yamaha Fascino is even better. 3. Seat is larger, But weight capacity is not that great. 4. BATTERY - This is Important. TVS provide two kinds of battery for Jupiter. EXIDE and AMCO. I had AMCO battery and it given trouble within 8 months of use. then I changed it as it was on warranty. But Guys, It might be a manufacturing issue for my scooter battery, but You should demand for a EXIDE battery while purchasing a Jupiter, They will give it easily. EXIDE is a much better battery than any battery on earth. Amaron battery is No.2 in the race! If You are unlucky, then anything can give trouble, But if your luck favor, Then AMCO will give maximum 2.5 to 3 yrs while EXIDE will give upto 6 years of self life. 5. COLOR- Not many free color options, But in Classic range, there are quite lovely colors. But be informed that, in Both basic and Classic models, Engine is same, Only outer body look is different.

Clutch assembly

New buyers stay away from this bike! i own this scooter and within one week it started giving me problems.I have been to a service center more than 15 times but it is not the mistake of a mechanic. It's the fault of the manufacturer and engineer who designed it.I have faced issues with the automatic on-off sensor and afe average. Both issues were solved by the service center after several visits. You need to be patient while getting resolved. But hold on it doesn't stop here it has major vibration issues and you can race more than 30 as it you will feel the vibration on the seat and footrest. My suggestion would be not to buy this tvs_jupiter_125 until tvs produces an error-free bike or if you have time to visit the service center several times and if you have a trained mechanic and a good service center in your city.It has major issues of clutch assembly.Note to date i have replaced the fuel gauge, Odometer but later they updated the software to remove the error of automatic on-off and afe.

Starter button

4.2

- the bike is easy to control, And never feels sluggish. The swish cannot be tilted because the rear wheel slips, But this has given me no trouble at all while leaning it on turns taken at 50 km/h or so at a maximum.- the storage is great. On runs into the city or for groceries shopping, The second hook in the footboard area and the huge storage under the seat is brilliant.- the brakes are pretty good, But not overwhelmingly tight.I usually tighten them as far as they will go, But even at the most extreme they don't feel too tight.- the auto-off and on for the engine works great in traffic, But it can catch you off-guard when you're in traffic.Using the starter button will cause it to need resetting.- the trip meter has a, B and f, Which are quite useful, And instantaneous and average fuel economy.Pretty useful feature there.- the fuel filler opening is in the front, Which really does stand out and make it easier to fill.

Arai mileage

Arai mileage is fake 42kmpl is fake all showroom owner of tvs in indore has very bad vibes jupiter is a nice vehicle tbh but not in terms of manufacturing part vibrating in some months only their tire quality is also very bad because of their own make and full vibration in the scooter after crossing 30 kmph.System failure obd failure, Wiring harness failure, Ecm failed, Fuel injector pump got broked, Suspension setup is good for city ride but after some time it has creating a sound the only good thing is comfortable seating and nothing to be claimed as good.

55kmpl mileage

4.2

1.I get 55kmpl mileage at 40-45 kmph speed. At higher speeds it drops to 40kmpl.2.Disk brake is good.3.Full size helmet fits inside trunk.4.Body started corroding in two years only!!5.Scooter looks with nasty colour is really appealing.6.Scooter is not for zip zap performance.Acceleration is below average.7.Seat cushion is good.8.No major fault in its current first three years except body corrosion.

End models

I feel it's one of the best mopped to choose in the current market for a better economy (i have a base model). It has very decent built quality as I drive a bit harsh on bumpy roads. Overall performance is good, but it lacks the performance. My brother in law owned Jupiter initial launch model, & I was quite impressed with its sound & pickup. It also had very good built quality hence without a second thought. I brought this vehicle in October 2020, & now the Odo is 5k. Thumbs up: 1. Fuel economy. 2. Built quality. 3. Good led light. 4. After-sales service by TVS thumbs down: 1. Poor pick up (not like old Jupiter). 2. Hard seats (not like old model seats & there is an option to change if you spend)note: I have a base model & this model comparison was with old & new base models only. Engine specs won't change in any of the models, but features will be added advantage. If you buy higher-end models.
