I have been using the tvs jupiter scooter for over a year now, And i must say that it has exceeded my expectations in many ways. Here are my thoughts on various aspects of the scooter: design and build quality: the design of the tvs jupiter is sleek and contemporary. It features a well-proportioned body with stylish lines and attractive color options. The build quality is commendable, With sturdy construction and durable materials used throughout the scooter. The fit and finish are top-notch, Giving it a premium feel compared to some of its competitors.Engine performance: the tvs jupiter is equipped with a 109.7 cc, Single-cylinder, Air-cooled engine. The power output of around 7.8 bhp and torque of 8 nm provide ample power for city commuting. The scooter accelerates smoothly and has a decent top speed, Making it suitable for both urban roads and occasional highway rides. The engine is refined and offers good fuel efficiency, Contributing to its practicality as a daily commuter.Ride comfort: one of the standout features of the tvs jupiter is its excellent ride comfort. The scooter comes with a telescopic front suspension and a gas-filled rear shock absorber, Which effectively absorbs bumps and undulations on the road. The seating position is comfortable, Offering ample space for the rider and pillion. The seat itself is wide and well-padded, Ensuring a fatigue-free ride even on long journeys.Handling and maneuverability: the tvs jupiter is a nimble scooter that offers great maneuverability in city traffic. It is lightweight and easy to handle, Allowing riders to navigate through tight spaces with ease. The scooter's compact dimensions make it effortless to park and maneuver through congested areas. The brakes, Both front, And rear, Provide good stopping power and inspire confidence while riding.Features and storage: the tvs jupiter comes packed with useful features. It includes an external fuel filler cap, Which is a convenient addition for refueling. The scooter also features an led headlight, Which offers excellent visibility during night rides.Additionally, It has a spacious under-seat storage compartment that can accommodate a full-face helmet and some additional items. There is also a front storage compartment with a usb charging port, Allowing you to charge your mobile devices on the go.Fuel efficiency: the tvs jupiter is known for its fuel efficiency. With its ecothrust fuel injection (et-fi) technology, The scooter delivers impressive mileage figures. On average, It can provide a mileage of around 50-55 kmpl, Which is quite good for a scooter in this segment. The fuel efficiency, Coupled with its 5.3-liter fuel tank capacity, Ensures fewer fuel stops and lower running costs.Overall, The tvs jupiter is a reliable and feature-packed scooter that offers a comfortable and enjoyable riding experience. It stands out with its excellent build quality, Fuel efficiency, And ride comfort.Whether you use it for daily commuting or occasional rides, The tvs jupiter proves to be a practical and value-for-money choice in the scooter segment.

Super Smooth Scooter

The TVS Jupiter 125 is super smooth, with a very nice pick-up and stability at high speeds, up to 70 km/h. The weight seems perfect. I have reached 80 km/h without any issues multiple times. Secondly, at traffic lights, when starting from zero, you can outpace most 125cc-150cc bikes or scooters, except EVs. The sudden acceleration while overtaking is also very smooth and can be done easily. The only couple of issues I faced after driving 1500 kms are: the petrol sensor is not accurate, so it doesn't show the correct level of petrol, and the shock absorbers are not the best. One has to really slow down at bumps or potholes; otherwise, if driving with a pillion, it touches the base, making a thud sound, and you know that the shockers will be damaged. However, the scooter is extremely smooth on good roads and can be taken for long drives if one can refuel after 130-140 kms on average. The mileage in the city is about 40 km, and on highways, it goes close to 45 if one is driving at an optimum speed of 55-60 km/h. Looks are subjective, but I find it very attractive with its simple but elegant design, especially the front and the backlights, which clearly make a style statement on the roads. Overall, it is a good vehicle to own for married couples with a child as it is comfortable for two adults and a child if mileage is not a concern and you have good roads to drive. Also, the petal disk brakes are pretty good and make you feel confident on highways. I strongly recommend it if one is purchasing this scooty (go for disk brakes option). Boot space is an extra added advantage as two helmets can easily be placed, and no other scooty has this option.

Outer body

3.4

Writing this review After 1 Year of riding. I though it would be great to share my experience. 1. Mileage - 44 Km/Litre(This is guaranteed, I have atleast 50+ reading average data. If you ride on 50 to 60 Speed without changing speed too quickly. 2. PICK UP - Quick accelerator is not that good.Honda activa is better and Yamaha Fascino is even better. 3. Seat is larger, But weight capacity is not that great. 4. BATTERY - This is Important. TVS provide two kinds of battery for Jupiter. EXIDE and AMCO. I had AMCO battery and it given trouble within 8 months of use. then I changed it as it was on warranty. But Guys, It might be a manufacturing issue for my scooter battery, but You should demand for a EXIDE battery while purchasing a Jupiter, They will give it easily. EXIDE is a much better battery than any battery on earth. Amaron battery is No.2 in the race! If You are unlucky, then anything can give trouble, But if your luck favor, Then AMCO will give maximum 2.5 to 3 yrs while EXIDE will give upto 6 years of self life. 5. COLOR- Not many free color options, But in Classic range, there are quite lovely colors. But be informed that, in Both basic and Classic models, Engine is same, Only outer body look is different.

I have 1.5 years experience

4.6

I have 1.5 years experience of my tvs jupiter 125 with orange glossy colour top model disc break system.Overall experience is good except vibration issues after 6 months in servicing at tvs service centre issue where resolved but i give at 2 time in week for same issue after that no vibration issues.I recommend it's family friendly scooter with mileage at starting of 40 but now i am getting 45 mileage.Tyre quality also good.Breaking system also very good in performance.Important it's petrol tank is 5 liter at front. So on petrol pump you don't need to stand & open your tank.I like most when you start scooter no noise or vibration. It's my favourite feature also you will get more boot space.Footrest also very large.Womens also can easily drive this scooter. In my home my wife and sister also driving smoothly.New features also good in big cities traffic you don't need to on off your scooter.Auto off in traffic if you need to on give raise only automatic scooter will on.Maximum speed on highway i drive is 90.It's best scooter in my eyes after i drive 1.5 years.I will recommend to buy it.

Problems in Jupiter Mileage

Pillion rider

2.6

Compare to the modern day scooters. The 2015 version that i own is quite old and has less features. The mileage of the bike is of around 30 kmph.Which is lower that many performance oriented bikes. The bike is very uncomfortable, Specially for pillion rider. If you ride with a pillion for more than 10 kms, They will start complaining about the comfort. The breaks needs to be constantly checked as it gets loosen up.My family owns 2 jupiters. One is used in city while the other is used in a village. The one in village has degraded very much.It makes noise from many places. It doesn't ride in straight line without any accident. The bike is not a good choice for village and for city i would suggest to go ahead with other options available in market.

Arai mileage

Arai mileage is fake 42kmpl is fake all showroom owner of tvs in indore has very bad vibes jupiter is a nice vehicle tbh but not in terms of manufacturing part vibrating in some months only their tire quality is also very bad because of their own make and full vibration in the scooter after crossing 30 kmph.System failure obd failure, Wiring harness failure, Ecm failed, Fuel injector pump got broked, Suspension setup is good for city ride but after some time it has creating a sound the only good thing is comfortable seating and nothing to be claimed as good.

55kmpl mileage

4.2

1.I get 55kmpl mileage at 40-45 kmph speed. At higher speeds it drops to 40kmpl.2.Disk brake is good.3.Full size helmet fits inside trunk.4.Body started corroding in two years only!!5.Scooter looks with nasty colour is really appealing.6.Scooter is not for zip zap performance.Acceleration is below average.7.Seat cushion is good.8.No major fault in its current first three years except body corrosion.

Tvs jupiter

4.6

Tvs jupiter is very easy and safe to ride, Even longer ride duration does not feel tiring on your hands.Best thing in tvs jupiter is the comfortable design, The boot space is enough to carry things around. One improvement could have been basic safety features implemented in all base models as well.On traffic light areas it easily gives a mileage of 50 km/ltr.But in heavy traffic where braking is constant the mileage may drop to 30s.Max speed i have touched on empty road is 100 km but it comes with a lot of vibration. Please use helmet if you are planning to test the top speed. But 70-80 kmph speed is easily achievable in favorable condition.I stay in vasai-virar region, Mumbai suburbs, The after sales service is good.We have official tvs service centers at 2 places and both value their customers.Overall it is a good petrol scooter that will easily last for a decade with a good maintenance.
