After introducing the 2014 Indian Chief range, Polaris India has announced the availability of the new Indian Scout cruiser through bookings from today. Polaris India has priced the new Indian Scout at a tempting Rs 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
Speaking about the new Indian Scout Pankaj Dubey, Managing Director, Polaris India, said, “The launch of the Indian Scout in the United States has proved to be successful in stirring a new wave of enthusiasm. The launch just added another feather in our effort to revive the history of Indian Motorcycle. The launched model is designed to possess the heritage of the past, blended with modern technology. We are now giving Indian enthusiasts a chance to own a piece of history in a modern package by booking their own Indian Scout.”

The new 2014 Indian Scout is an American cruiser which has been recently given a complete makeover and just about a month ago was launched at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. With the Scout, the company introduced its first-ever liquid-cooled, 1131cc V-twin engine which churns out 100PS of peak power.
The 2014 Indian Scout also features a classic rigid triangle design coupled with premium mono-tube rear shocks for improved handling and comfort. The massive bike weighs a whopping 253kg, has a wheelbase of 1,562mm, ground clearance of 135mm and 31-degrees of lean.
The official launched of the 2014 Indian Scout will be held soon and deliveries of the cruiser will commence later this year. This retro-styled modern motorcycle is aiming at the growing cruiser community in the country.
