After a year of it changing hands from BMW Motorrad to Stefan Pierer, boss at KTM AG, Husqvarna has unveiled its 2015 range of enduro and motocross motorcycles. Husqvarna fans will be delighted with the fact that it hasn’t leaved out two-stroke powerplants as it will have three new motorcycles in the MX segment with two-stroke motors.
As part of the change, the new range of Husqvarna features revised styling with more modern and smother lines. The graphics have been restyled to look livelier than before but the classic blue and yellow stripes and accents have been retained. The four-stroke motocross range consists of FC 250, FC 350 and the FC 450 flagship. Whereas the four-stroke endure lineup comprise of FE 250, FE 350, FE 450 and the top-spec FE 501.
Upgrades on the motocross motorcycles include a motocross-spec fork sourced from WP with improved damping, the rear suspension setup has been tinkered for improved suspension and handling characteristics. The minicross TC 85 sports lighter swingarm, while the FC 250 and FC 350 gets new clutch baskets and springs.
The improvements made on the enduro range of Husqvarna bikes are more prominent. The new Husqvarna endure bikes feature new headlights, front fenders and CNC machined triple clamps adapted to new front fender. The suspension setup has also been revised and sourced from WP, whereas special prominence was given to make the new enduro motorcycles weigh as less as possible. The new Husqvarna range of motorcycles will be on sale in the European market from July 2014 onwards.
