Ducati has launched the Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak in India at Rs 36,16,700 (ex-showroom). It’s the second most performance-focused Multistrada you can buy after the RS.
At its heart sits the glorious 1,158cc, V4 Granturismo engine – same motor found in the entire Multistrada V4 family, and the Ducati Diavel V4 as well. It churns out 170PS at 10,750rpm, 124Nm at 9,000rpm, delivered through a six-speed gearbox with a bidirectional quickshifter.

The engine is E20-compliant, and features rear-cylinder deactivation for improved heat management – a cool feature for our tropical climate (and traffic too). There’s also a ‘Race’ ride mode that unleashes the engine’s full potential while dialing back rider aids like traction and wheelie control.
The Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 electronically adjustable suspension constantly adapts to your riding style. This Ducati bike retains the 6.5-inch TFT display with full navigation, Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Detection, and even Forward Collision Warning – thanks to its radar-based safety suite.

Unlike the standard Ducati Multistrada V4’s 19-inch front, the Pikes Peak rolls on 17-inch forged Marchesini wheels at both ends, wrapped in Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tyres (yes, those) similar to the top-spec RS. The single-sided swingarm, carbon-fibre parts, and factory-fitted Akrapovič titanium silencer leave no doubt about this bike’s intentions.
Braking is handled by Brembo Stylema monoblocs with twin 330mm front discs and a 280mm rear. The ergonomics have also been reworked for aggression – lower, narrower handlebars, higher footpegs, and a taller, firmer seat make it feel more like a sportbike than an ADV.

It costs Rs 5,55,400 more than the Multistrada V4 S, but offers a riding experience that rivals the Ducati Panigale V4, and Ducati Streetfighter V4 (we’re not even joking) – only with the comfort to devour continents in the process. But then again, if you’re spending this much money on a bike in the first place, then you might as well spend Rs 7.30 lakh more and just get the no-holds-barred Multistrada V4 RS, priced at Rs 43,46,700 (ex-showroom).
