Ducati Multistrada V4 RS Teased Ahead Of India Launch

A monster of an ADV is arriving in India as Ducati India has teased the Multistrada V4 RS on its social media handle.

The absolutely mad Ducati Multistrada V4 RS gets the MotoGP-inspired Iceberg White livery that looks really smashing. It accentuates the ADV’s aggressive looks very well. The bike is powered by a 1103cc, liquid-cooled, V4 Desmosedici engine producing 180PS at 12,250rpm and 118Nm at 9,500rpm, which is inspired by the manufacturer’s MotoGP bike’s Desmosedici Stradale motor. It gets the multiplate dry clutch from the Panigale. The bi-directional quickshifter is available as standard. The suspension setup consists of a 48mm inverted fork and monoshock (both fully adjustable and from Ohlins). Stopping the immensely powerful ADV are dual 330mm semi-floating front disc brakes with radially mounted monobloc 4-piston calipers and a 265mm rear disc with a 2-piston floating caliper (both sourced from Brembo). 

The V4 RS gets 120-section front and 190-section rear Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV Corsa tyres with 17-inch Marchesini forged wheels at both ends. The bike is fully feature loaded as it gets a 6.5-inch TFT instrument console with smartphone connectivity and map-driven navigation along with a whole host of other electronics like riding modes, cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control, a radar system, blind spot detection and cruise control. 

The Ducati Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak costs Rs 31.48 lakh. So, the even madder V4 RS could very well cost close to the Rs 40 lakh mark (both ex-showroom) or even beyond that and is expected to be launched in the coming weeks. If you want your hands on one and the pockets are deep enough to back that desire, better get your checkbooks ready now because all units of the ADV could be snapped up as they arrive in India.
