Royal Enfield has introduced Digital Roadside Assistance via its mobile application. Now while the company had already introduced RSA in India back in 2016, you would have to call the customer care in order to avail it. Now to make their customers’ lives easier, the brand has also launched 24*7 digital Roadside Assistance (RSA) in India.

How Does It Work?

Owners of Royal Enfield motorcycles who have valid RSA, can now get help with the touch of a button. All they have to do is open their RE app and mark your location. Post that, once you select the issue you are facing and get your case registered, technicians will be deployed to your location for quick repairs.

What Does It Cover?

RSA also assures that conveyance and labour costs are covered by Royal Enfield and the customer has to pay for parts that aren’t subjected under warranty or company’s AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) only. It also says that mechanical, electrical and crash incidents on National highways, State highways, or motorable roads within mainland India will be handled on the spot or will be towed to the nearest service station if necessary.

What Will You Have To Pay For?

Other than just breakdowns related to mechanical, electrical and crashes, the Royal Enfield RSA also covers flat tyre assistance (payable), battery drain (battery payable), incorrect fueling, fuel delivery (payable for up to 5 litres), key lockout (payable for locks and keys) and medical referral (payable for medical attention). Digital RSA is only available for India as of now. It is complimentary for the first year and can be renewed subsequently for an annual fee of Rs 999. You could also avail RSA for the 2nd and 3rd years together for a fee of Rs 1,499.
