Hero MotoCorp has teased the Xpulse 421 on its social media handles again. The upcoming Hero ADV is set to debut at EICMA 2026. Here's a closer look:

The upcoming Xpulse 421 will be the brand's flagship adventure bike, built on a completely new 421cc platform. It was recently spied in Ladakh, giving us a first look at its design, which looks quite different from the brand's smaller Xpulse 210.
The Xpulse 421 gets an LED headlight with integrated LED DRLs, a muscular tank, a single-piece seat, and a tall windscreen for added wind protection. Unlike its smaller sibling, the Xpulse 210, the 421 gets a conventional front fender instead of a beak, which indicates more highway touring intentions rather than a proper off-roader. It also gets an inverted fork and a high-mounted exhaust. Overall, the bike looks more touring-oriented compared to its smaller sibling.
The Xpulse 421 is expected to be powered by a 421cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine paired with a 6-speed gearbox. While Hero has not revealed the specs yet, we expect it to produce around 40 PS and 40 Nm, which will make it quite capable for long-distance touring.
In terms of underpinnings, the bike will get an inverted fork and a monoshock, along with a 21 front and a 19-inch rear wheel setup. Braking duties will be handled by disc brakes at both ends, and the bike is expected to come with Metzeler Tourance dual-purpose tyres.
The Hero bike is also expected to be quite feature-loaded and should get a TFT console with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and call/SMS alerts. We could also expect multiple ride modes, a bidirectional quickshifter and traction control, along with cruise control, which will make it more touring-friendly.
The Hero Xpulse 421 will make its debut at the EICMA Motor Show in Milan, Italy. It will be Hero's flagship adventure bike, built on a brand-new platform, and will also be Hero's most powerful production bike yet. However, it will be a more touring-focused motorcycle compared to its smaller siblings.
We expect the bike to be priced between Rs 2.85 lakh and Rs 3 lakh (ex-showroom), and it is expected to rival the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and the KTM 390 Adventure.
