  • Will be launched in September

  • RE has also launched a Factory Customs studio

Updated Royal Enfield Classic 350 has been unveiled! It now gets more modern features, and slight tweaks to its aesthetics. While it continues to look like a retro-roadster, its updates should make it more appealing to the modern Royal Enfield enthusiasts. Here’s all you need know about the new Classic 350:

What’s New

It now gets LED lights all around – headlight, tail-light, and even the pilot lamps. While that increases the road illumination, it also brings the Classic into a modern era. These are now standard across the range, and so are a USB charger and dual-channel ABS.

Next up are the new colours on the 2024 Royal Enfield Classic 350: Emerald, Medallion Brown, Jodhpur Blue, Madras Red, Commando Sand, and Stealth.

The Tripper navigation pod is standard with the Emerald and Stealth colourways.

Price and Launch

The 2024 Royal Enfield Classic 350 will be launched on September 1, and will be available from that date as well. For reference, the previous version of the Classic 350 was priced from Rs 1,93,080 to Rs 2,24,755 (ex-showroom). We don’t expect the price to be increased, and if at all, by somewhere around Rs 3,000.

What’s Unchanged

And that’s about all the updates on the new Classic 350. It continues to be powered by the J-Series 350cc air-cooled engine that makes 20.2PS and 27Nm. The rest of its styling remains the same as well.

Royal Enfield Factory Customs

Royal Enfield has also launched a customisation programme called Factory Customs. It includes a design studio at the factory that will work directly with the customers who wish to get their bikes personalised. This is quite similar to what some of the more premium brands offer; more prevalent with uber-luxury car brands. This should allow the discerning RE customers to have their bikes customised at factory fit-and-finish standards. Considering how big the custom scene around Royal Enfield bikes is, it seems to be a prudent move from the brand.

ZigSays

The Royal Enfield Classic 350 has always been a contemporary avatar of the Bullet, and targeted more towards the audience that wants a modern-ish bike. The rivals to the Classic 350 have very well evolved into modern bikes with the features they offer, and this update has been due for a while.
