Every year, we get to see new features in every segment, clearly indicating that we Indians love features and the automakers are generously pampering us with loads of them. Among new car launches, we have seen many premium features being offered with entry-level sedans and even sub-4-metre SUVs.
The diverse list includes a few new cars that have already become best-sellers within just a few months of their launch. We have chosen one car each from the most popular segments. So read on to know what makes these cars stand out and appeal to you.
The Kia Syros brings a premium flavour to the subcompact SUV space, offered from Rs 9.50 lakh to Rs 17.80 lakh (ex-showroom). The Syros comes with plenty of top-notch amenities, but the comfort in the rear seat is something that truly makes it stand out.

What makes the rear seat even better is the ventilation function! This is a feature that Kia doesn’t even offer with top-spec variants of the more expensive Seltos and Carens Clavis. It elevates the cabin experience, providing comfort like no other in its segment.
Kia is one such carmaker that has aced the features department. With the new Carens Clavis, the Korean marque is offering the crowd-favourite panoramic sunroof that adds a sense of airiness inside the cabin and makes the interior experience feel more expensive.

No other MPV, including the Clavis’ closest rivals, the Maruti Ertiga and Toyota Innova Crysta offer this premium feature. The Clavis’ price ranges between Rs 11.5 lakh to Rs 21.5 lakh.
The only sedan on the list, and also the only sedan in its segment to offer Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). The new-generation Amaze takes on the Maruti Dzire, which also comes with a very enhanced suite of features, but doesn’t offer ADAS. The Amaze’s ADAS suite includes auto emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, and lane keep assist.

While ADAS is not really meant for India, it can be useful if you often travel on well-marked highways. The Amaze is priced from Rs 8.10 lakh to Rs 11.20 lakh.
The only EV on the list, and also a car that has become extremely popular on our Indian roads. The funky-looking yet futuristic EV offers a segment-first 256-colour ambient lighting. That’s more than some luxury cars that are offered at three times the price of the Windsor. While you do get ambient lighting in similarly priced EVs, none of them get 256 colours to play with. Moreover, Windsor’s ambient lighting is tastefully curated and smartly integrated to enhance the appeal of the cabin. The Windsor is priced between Rs 14 lakh to Rs 18 lakh (ex-showroom).

Just a few days ago, Tata launched the facelifted Altoz on our shores for Rs 6.89 lakh (ex-showroom). The facelifted Altroz introduced some new styling elements like flush door handles and connected LED tail lights that are unheard of in its segment.

Moreover, it also has a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display that comes with inbuilt navigation so that you don’t have to rely on the infotainment unit to check out the directions. This truly is a premium feature which none of its competitors offer.
The Mahindra Thar Roxx is undoubtedly the most well-equipped off-roading SUV in its price range. Over rivals like the Force Gurkha and Maruti Jimny, it offers many features like a panoramic sunroof, level-2 ADAS, electronic parking brake, a 360-degree camera and a lot more!

The Thar Roxx has completely shattered the competition in terms of features, and offers an experience like any other urban well-equipped SUV would. The Thar Roxx is priced between Rs 12.99 lakh to Rs 23.09 lakh.
The best thing is that the above-mentioned cars also push other rival automakers to add more features in the cars for them to stay relevant in the market. These features were once uncommon in mass-market segments, but it is 2025 and we are honestly not surprised by most of these features.
