4 New Oben EVs Coming In The Next 6 Months

Oben Electric has announced that it will launch four new electric vehicles in the next 6 months. The EV maker has also said that the price range of those vehicles will range from Rs 60,000 to Rs 1,50,000 (ex-showroom). 

Currently, the Oben Rorr is the only vehicle in the manufacturer’s lineup. It costs Rs 1,49,999 (ex-showroom including EMPS 2024, which stands for Electric Mobility Promotion Scheme 2024). It gets a 4.4kWh capacity battery pack with a claimed IDC (Indian Driving Conditions) range of 187km and takes 2 hours to be charged from 0-80%. The motor’s peak power output is 8kW and the electric bike has a top speed of 100kmph. The addition of four new vehicles to Oben’s lineup will certainly help the EV makers reach different types of customers with varying needs from an electric motorcycle. 

Oben Rorr Riding Front Three Fourth

Oben Electric also announced that it is set to expand its dealership network in India, with over 60 new showrooms planned in more than 12 cities by the end of 2024. A few months ago, the EV maker opened new dealerships in New Delhi, Pune, Kochi and Trivandrum. With the expanded dealership network and new bikes added to its lineup, Oben Electric should have a much bigger market share next year.
