Ola Electric CEO Confirms New Electric Bike; Twitterati Want A highlights

Ola Electric CEO Bhavish Aggarwal confirmed that the company is now working on an electric motorcycle. The brand had already revealed its plans of a new electric motorcycle, and further details were to be announced by Holi 2023. However, the new tweets from the CEO have given an interesting direction for the new product.

During the launch of the Ola S1 Air, the company said that it will be present in the mass market, mid-size and premium motorcycle categories. In a tweet, the Ola Electric CEO asked twitterati what genre of motorcycle they would prefer, and unsurprisingly, ‘Sports’ won the poll by a huge margin. Other options included ‘Cruiser’, ‘Adventure’ and ‘Cafe Racer’. 

Does that mean the first electric motorcycle would be a sports bike? Ideally, if the big announcement is to happen early next year, the product should be already under development, which means either we’ll see a sports bike or something completely different, followed by a sports bike.
