Ola Electric Bike Teased Again Ahead Of August 15 Unveil

Ola Electric is set to make some pretty big announcements on August 15, 2024. Ahead of that event, the EV maker has teased an upcoming Ola Electric bike on its social media handle.

From this teaser, we have observed that the bike gets a dual LED projector headlight setup and the ‘tank’ shrouds protrude towards the headlight. It has a big windscreen and gets a raised handlebar. From when the bike was last teased, we got to know that it gets a relaxed and upright riding posture and a narrow front tyre, which suggests that the upcoming bike could be the manufacturer’s entry-level offering. 

When its battery pack was teased a couple of weeks ago, we observed that the bike gets a diamond-type split double cradle frame and the motor is compact in size, located below the battery pack. The bike gets a chain drive system. Recently, design patents of three Ola Electric bikes were revealed and looked very similar to the Old Roadster. The Roadster’s performance is expected to be similar to that of a 160cc petrol-powered bike. 

The upcoming Ola Roadster will be unveiled on August 15, 2024 with the launch expected to happen by mid-2025. It is expected to get a price tag of about Rs 1.4 lakh (ex-showroom) and its rivals will be other electric commuter bikes such as the Revolt RV400.
