The Tata Punch EV,the latest electric car from the Indian marque, is available in five broad variants. Earlier, we provided you an overview of its entry-level Smart and Smart+ variants, and in this report, we will explain to you what the Punch EV's mid-spec Adventure variant brings to the table.

The Tata Punch EV Adventure looks ditto to the top-spec model as it packs the connected LED DRLs with sequential turn indicators, LED projector headlights and fog lamps with cornering functionality.

The Adventure variant is equipped with 15-inch steel wheels. However, if you configure it with the bigger 35 kWh battery pack, you get 16-inch steel wheels that are styled to look like alloys. Opting for the Long Range variant will also provide you with disc brakes for all four wheels. Apart from the 'EV' badging on the front doors, the overall profile closely resembles the petrol-powered Punch.

Moving on to the rear, you won't notice anything different in the Adventure variant as it continues to feature LED taillights and a slightly modified bumper, consistent with the overall design of the Punch EV.

Stepping inside the Adventure variant, you’ll see dual-tone semi-leatherette seat upholstery. Configuring the Adventure variant with the larger battery pack will get you niceties such as a rotary gear selector with integrated display and electronic parking brake with auto hold function. The lower central console is also different from the long range variant, with more gloss black piano detailing, and has a slightly different layout.

With the Adventure variant, you get features such as a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, a six-speaker sound system, push-button start-stop, automatic climate control, air purifier, and paddle shifters for regenerative braking.
Safety-wise it is equipped with six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, hill hold assist, hill descent control (Long Range variant only), tyre pressure monitoring system and reverse parking camera with sensors.
