Q. Which is better in CNG, automatic or manual transmission in Honda Amaze?
  • Honda Amaze is available with two BS6-compliant engine options: a 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The engines can be had with either a 5-speed manual or CVT. There is no CNG fuel type on the offer. Moreover, if you'll be driving more in heavy city traffic then we suggest you to opt for Automatic Transmission which is easier to use and more comfortable for the driver, while Manual Transmission vehicles are less expensive more involved
Q. Whay is the proper name for parts of honda amaze which is near to mirror.. body part.. black colour
  • Amaze features Manually Adjustable Ext. Rear View Mirror is adjusted by a lever given inside the car on the door. Amaze also features Power Adjustable Exterior Rear View Mirror which is adjusted by button. For more details, we would refer you to the user manual.
Q. I did not start my honda amaze diesel(2019) for the last 7 days. , is there any problem ?
  • In order to keep the engine and battery's health intact, we'd suggest you start the engine and leave it on for a while. Leaving a diesel engine in an idle state for a longer period may have some adverse effect and you might end up spending more on maintenance. Even if you do not take your car out for a drive, start the engine and let it run for a few minutes. Read More:- Car Care For The 21-Day Lockdown

Q. I want to buy a Car. Which one is best Dzire VXI or Amaze S. Please suggest
  • Pros:- Buy this car only if u want comfort and real time 17.5 kmpl petrol. CVT variants are also good with 17.3kmpl mileage and 24kmpl diesel mileage. diesel is soo good in terms of performance and mileage than petrol. Petrol is king in refinement. Four star rated for the cars sold in Africa only I don't know about Indian car. But it seems well built. cruise control etc.Cons:- Honda is very slow in terms of upgrading this car in India. There are no connected car features and animations in the car anywhere like Suzuki or ford offer's . Car literally vibrates when it's in the reverse gear and in the first gear as well, that is soo annoying😶. Like fordpass which lets u to know the number of Kms u've driven and which door is open, tyre pressure monitoring etc all those are available in aspire as well, why don't you give atleast such few features honda. honda connect app is only for city car . Now amaze petrol VX mt is 9.6 lakhs on road there are no rear adjustable headrests and the petrol engine isn't punchy enough but It is refined. You removed built in navigation, music system is AVG speakers can't handle high NUM sound that shows AVG speakers quality. There is no auto dimming rear view mirror these are the features not available in any of their variants. Best vfm variant is S variant I guess. They literally seem to be made this car for one who wants to buy it for 8 lakhs on road because only that variant justifies the value one is investing.
  • I've no idea about honda amaze since I've Swift Dzire vxi thus I would suggest vxi because after my experience with the car the vehicle is really good with power steering for handling Delhi trafffic & ofcourse easy service of the vehicle with reasonable price
  • Dezire is cheap to run but doesn't has that build quality which Amaze has. Amaze has received 4 stars in Global NCAP for crash test, whereas Dezire's built quality is questionable. The parts for Dezire are cheap, however they are needed to be changed more frequently than the Amaze. Hence the actual cost of ownership is lesser in an Amaze then the Dezire

Q. I want to by a car at Pondicherry, because road taxes in Karnataka are high, am I allowed to buy and register my ownership at Pondicherry - Amaze?
  • You can buy a car in pondicherry, provided you have a proof of residence and permanent resident of pondicherry, but if you plan to take the car back to karnataka, the state government will ask for all papers regarding the genuinely of purchase and also one time entry tax of 20k and for change of registration to karnataka. There is also a penalty clause if I am right. Whatever you think you could save from buying in pondyYou will made to pa atleast 65% of it.
  • Yes
Q. Which is better - diesel or petrol in AMAZE and why?
  • If your daily commute is more than 5O-60 Kms a day .then you should choose a diesel variant. Other wise petrol amaze is best. . In all new Amaze both petrol and Diesel variants are equally positioned well and became popular . In New amaze the NVH levels are much lesser compared to first gen version hence it is quite ok with diesel engine also . More over if you apply your calculations properly done. You may be able to run your petrol car with the extra 1.25 to 1.5 Lac you pay for a diesel version . In the New Amaze Diesel CVT offered is first in the segment . It is now more frugal and efficient. If CNG is added to petrol it definitely economical the power out put will be less with CNG and you may feel less torque while driving . .We donot suggest CNG for petrol variants.so Please choose based on your daily commute .
  • Go for petrol variant. The serice period would be more for petrol than diesel so, maintenance could will be less. Petrol engine will be durable even with long gaps between service to service. Don't compromise with safety. Go for top load variant where all have airbags. Good choice if you consider amaze. 5 people can easily accomate with good leg space.
  • Diesel Manual has very good torque and engine power. Its a pleasure to drive the car especially on long drives. Petrol CVT is crisp for the city run. I preferred petrol as my running is mostly in the city and lower cost of the vehicle. Maintenance cost is mostly same for both. If using for heavy running and hilly roads diesel is better in manual and petrol CVT for automatic.
