Must Read Questions & Answers Before Buying V15 Power Up

Q. My friend's suggest me V15 but my family force me to buy a Hero's bike so which one is better for daily 100km drive V15 or any Hero bike with good mileage around 90000.
  • Hero's bikes are only known for its less price and better mileage..But if we talk about v15 it's price is not much high but it's a 150 cc bike. So it's mileage is about 45 .But it has a better engine than hero's bikes and you know that the strong engine has better life....It's all on u that what you wants. ---- a better engine or a better mileage. : By Sagar | 2 months ago
  • You have a good budget. I would suggest not to go for either. Hero without Honda has lost everything it once was to Honda actually. So, don't spend 90K on Hero because its not worth. V15 for daily 100 kms ride would be extremely uncomfortable from personal experience.Explore options with Honda or TVS. You have the Apache RTR which can fit in perfectly to your requirements. Make your choice wisely. Happy biking :-) : By Anupam | 3 months ago
  • Hero bikes are no doubt good in terms of mileage and they can be rugged too. Bajaj V15 on the other hand has on road presence and looks with decent mileage and power. The maneuverability is also great on V15. Hero bikes have low maintenance. : By Eagle | 7 months ago

Q. What the service cost for v15?
  • Depends how you use that bike like daily i use bike for 50 km and completed 50k km in 2 years without any major break down average service cost is something between 800****200 depends on several things. but good thing is bajaj parts are not much expensive as honda : By Kush | 2 months ago
  • Relax ! Bajaj service centres as per my personal experience charges only what they change like tube, or if some parts if it is required. V15 is a very hardy bike . I was knocked down by a car from right side while riding V15 last month. Only my right side rider's foot rest got bended, leg guard not at all dented though my bike was knocked down. : By Sumontra | 1 year ago
  • The normal paid service can vary around ₹1500 -₹2200 (including engine oil)from an authorised service centre. From a normal lay service station it'll cost around ₹800 - ₹1000 (including engine oil) : By Eagle | 1 year ago

Q. Which will be best choice in 150cc bike segment among Honda, Bajaj and Hero in term of performance, maintainance and price.
  • Hey there! Different bikes offer different deals. It basically depends on your need and feasibility. Honda bikes have one of the most refined engines with good build quality, but its pretty costly and even the spares are expensive. Their bikes cannot take the hard Indian roads beating(alloy bends often). Whereas Bajaj bikes are pretty rugged and can take good beatings. The are actually meant for Indian roads. The only drawback I feel is that they don't offer good service to their customers as they should. Hero bikes on the other hand are simple and not too costly, but they're not appealed much apart from their low cc segment bikes. Hero bikes offer an excellent mileage though. All bikes have their own pros and cons irrespective of any make. What you have to decide is what suits you best. Thanks : By Eagle | 10 months ago

  • You want to exchange your V15 or you want to exchange some other bike for a V15? Both are possible. Just go to a bike dealer, there are also open market dealers who deal in second hand bikes and offer a good price : By Anupam | 1 month ago
